I have had a George Foreman before, but cleaning it could be a bit of a hassle until I got this one. It is very easy to use and extremely easy to clean. It is a great price for this model and overall I love it!

Every review for this product tells you it's big, but not HOW big, search on-line and somewhere you might actually find the dimensions, but when you're listening to the people on this site you'll be thinking, maybe they're exaggerating....THEY'RE NOT. You might even be thinking, 'How big could it be?', it's BIG. But even if you do know the dimensions it's not a simple case of ensuring you have enough space to contain the grill, when you have the grill closed, the handle overhangs the bottom of the grill by 12cm, and when you open it, the lid overhangs the back by an extra 4cm, so if you don't want the handle poking out over the edge of any worksurfaces and you want the lid to open onobstructed you'll need more space. These Grill Sponges are excellent for cleaning all the ins & outs of the George Foreman Grill plates, which is almost impossible to do with a normal sponge scrubber, without damaging either the scrubber, or the grill plate. I first discovered them a couple of years ago, and have found them so good, although hard to find locally, that whenever I discover a shop with them, I buy several packs, to ensure that I won't run out, before I have to restock. I would greatly recommend them to everyone.

I have had two NN-A554W and both developed exactly the same fault in exactly the same place (burnt door seal) after very little use. I still don't know how or why that happened and Panasonic couldn't or wouldn't explain it. As the second appliance was still under guarantee (just four months old, less than two months of use) I got my money back (thanks Amazon). I now need another microwave but I will not be buying another Panasonic. I advise all users to check the door seal regularly.

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George. This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. I have had several microwaves over the years and this is by far the best. It is an 'Inverter' microwave, this means that when using functions such as defrost rather than 'pulsing' on high power, it can actually operate at a lower power which most microwaves can't. It is the first microwave I have used with a decent browning and crisping function. It comes with an excellent Panacrunch pan, which just looks like a round metal dish, but when you use it you can cook pizza, hash browns, quiche, pastys etc... and they always come out brown and crispy. Tonight I used it to cook Breaded Jalapino peppers, they normally take 15 mins in a conventional oven. They took just 4 mins and came out lovely and crispy!! I would highly recommend this ...
