Bought this as a gift for my mother and she uses it all the time! Just a quick and easy way to get the best tasting coffee instead of that crappy instant stuffs. Plus its Bodum so you know you got yourself a high quality item:D

It seems that Russell Hobbs is very focused on making their stuff look good, and yet they're not too bothered about whether it works well. As the previous reviewer stated, the kettle pours badly. I've never had to think about pouring a kettle before, but with this thing you have to be careful because of the strange spout. and despite it being rapid boil it seems reluctant to stop boiling the water. I can clearly see the water boiling away and yet the kettle continues boiling it for a further 15 seconds. I usually just end up switching it off the moment I see the water boiling. I suppose this is the trouble with devices that have glass sides, we can see them working badly.

A reasonable size and looks quite good on the shelf, but a very disappointing quality. Very thin glass and likely to end up broken very quickly. More the sort of thing I would expect from a Pound Shop - not what you expect to get for a designer price!

A reasonable size and looks quite good on the shelf, but a very disappointing quality. Very thin glass and likely to end up broken very quickly. More the sort of thing I would expect from a Pound Shop - not what you expect to get for a designer price!

This is a reasonable product at a reasonable price. It works well although, like all cafetierres, you need to use coarse ground coffee to avoid the sludge at the bottom of the cup. I would recommend that you buy yourself a decent coffee grinder and make your own grind. I remember reading somewhere that coffee from a cafetierre is the 'healthy' option as it's the extra heating of 'instant' (as part of it's processing) or percolated coffee, causes the formation of a compound that promotes cholestrol (it's not the caffeine!). Mind you, if you were worried about that, you'll probably be drinking green tea!

At only 500ml this is the perfect teapot for small quantities - does 2 cups easily with a bit left over. Looks good, works just perfectly, and generally does exactly what it says on the box. For fine teas, it will let just a very few fine leaves through into the tea but that doesn't bother me - tea bags often do the same. I'm using mine for herbal teas and you can generally infuse the same tea leaves a couple of times, giving you more cups of tea!

Yes its a pink chopping board made of glass however it is very pretty easily cleaned not to heavy and small enough to put in front of a toaster to butter that toast in the mornings! It always washes up well and come up sparkling and brand spanking new love it wish there was a bigger one available love it!

Firstly this product did not crush the ice at all and that is why I bought it to crush ice, it just kept swirling it round the jug. Secondly on using it for about the 5th time, I put some soup in it to blend and the glass jug just cracked. Couldn't believe it as my old one blended my soups perfectly and I only changed it because I wanted the look of the stainless steel and my last one was white. Also everytime you put hot liquid in it the lid kept coming off and spraying the hot liquid everywhere so you would need to have your hand on the top. This is a bad product.
