I have had a George Foreman before, but cleaning it could be a bit of a hassle until I got this one. It is very easy to use and extremely easy to clean. It is a great price for this model and overall I love it!

Every review for this product tells you it's big, but not HOW big, search on-line and somewhere you might actually find the dimensions, but when you're listening to the people on this site you'll be thinking, maybe they're exaggerating....THEY'RE NOT. You might even be thinking, 'How big could it be?', it's BIG. But even if you do know the dimensions it's not a simple case of ensuring you have enough space to contain the grill, when you have the grill closed, the handle overhangs the bottom of the grill by 12cm, and when you open it, the lid overhangs the back by an extra 4cm, so if you don't want the handle poking out over the edge of any worksurfaces and you want the lid to open onobstructed you'll need more space. I bought this for my mum and took it abroad. Last time when I visited her, as I held it the buttom just fell. I dont know how that happened but it was broken and couldnt fix it. I dont know about the guarentee. I will check it but too much hassle! This is when I hate buying staff from internet.

We purchased this kettle and toaster combo as we felt Russell Hobbs was a name you could trust. The design seemed modern and did exactly what we wanted. However, after a couple of months the toaster started to not release the toast and we ended up burning toast every time we used it. The light system is also hard to read. Then the kettle, scaled up very quickly and burns your hand when pouring. It has also started to leak. All in all it has been the worst purchase we have ever made and now we're on the lookout again for alternative.

Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George. This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. The unit feels solid and durable, though the temperature control seems unusually delicate, as if it doesn't really do anything. It seems that Russell Hobbs is very focused on making their stuff look good, and yet they're not too bothered about whether it works well. As the previous reviewer stated, the kettle pours badly. I've never had to think about pouring a kettle before, but with this thing you have to be careful because of the strange spout. and despite it being rapid boil it seems reluctant to stop boiling the water. I can clearly see the water boiling away and yet the kettle continues boiling it for a further 15 seconds. I usually just end up switching it off the moment I see the water boiling. I suppose this is the trouble with devices that have glass sides, we can see them working badly.
