Just received the new Dyson CD25 'Ball,' the Super Saver Delivery service is quick. I placed the order on Friday afternoon & by Saturday 10am (less than 24 hours), I had used the Dyson to great success. Easy to follow instruction for the assembly of the main handle to the body of the unit. Plain English manual to fully learn how to use the 'Ball' to best effect. It's incredible considering two days ago I had used my 'old' vac to clean the hallway, this little baby goes further than expected. Talk about suction power & ease of use. Dyson DC24 Allfloors - The Dyson Ball Upright Vacuum Cleaner - Iron Satin Yellow What a great little machine, compact, efficient, light, great design and styling. Have had Dysons for years and no problems so far. This machine really wins in the weight stakes, it's light and easily carried upstairs by myself and my wife. She loves it and it stows away much better than our our old machine. Best of all it's British, showing we can still lead the world, in some things at least.

I cannot fault HENRY, infact I am on my second one. The first one lasted me 26 years and it had fallen down the stairs on several occasions, without a mark on it and still smiling!

After reading several reviews sites I decided to take the plunge. My old vacuum had just about had it. The Vax Mach 7 arrived within two days. Assembly is only two screws for the handle. I was using it within minutes. I found the noise level quite acceptable and the tools were adequate. Yes as others have said it's on the heavy-ish side, but I think that it gives it a reassuring feel of a solid well build machine. I was dismayed at the sheer amount of muck that started flying into the vacuum. Just goes to show you never know what's lucking on the floor. The only thing I would say is that there is too much suction when using the tools. The pipe tends to shrink because of the suction so you have to fight it out again. It would be nice if ... Wow, who invented these? I've got one fitted to my Henry Vacuum Cleaner - a highly recommended product - Numatic HVR200 Henry Vacuum Cleaner Red 1200W - and it is one of many I have used. No rips, overflows, burst bags or general delinquency yet. They just do the job they're designed for, and they do it well. They're so brilliant I'm thinking of marrying one.

Difficult to imagine how inefficient my other vacuum cleaners were until I powered up this "beast"! The upright and the "wand" (the cylinder-like hose attachment) both removed quite dramatic amounts of dirt, dust, fluff and detritus from what I had imagined was a clean carpet. I'm sitting staring in disbelief at the amount of stuff in the bagless dirt/rubbish container. I recommend this machine.

The difference is in the design with this Dyson. You just have to see the detail. It's vastly superior to any other handheld. In fact, from Dyson's own website, I can buy any part, and make a whole new machine myself and without having to pay for costly repairs. What do you do with your old handheld when it breaks - throw it away and buy another one? Well done Mr. Dyson. It's a top product. If you want a good price, like I did, then price watch a few places and wait for offers and deals to come by. I will keep this brief and to the point. The item does not have any rotating brushes (something I should have noted before purchasing it). There is a "static brush bar" on the underside, but that is pretty useless. Because of this, all the device does really is squirt out the water/detergent mix and then suck it back up again. And to be clear, it doesn't even suck up much of the water. This is probably because the suction bit near the front does not press down against the carpet firmly enough to be effective. I have given it "two stars" because the hand held attachment did manage to get a good amount of grime out, but that required that I scrub the carpet rigorously with the small static brush mounted within the handheld bit. I bought this dusting brush at my local Curry's and it cost £17.95 which was rather on the expensive side, but I'm not a huge fan of dusting and I liked the concept. It works really well, gets up all of the dust and is gentle enough to use just about anywhere. It is great at getting the dust out of the bottom of drawers, and the tops of books in my bookcase and as all of the dust goes into the vacuum cleaner, you are not transferring it from surface to carpet. On the minus side, the brush falls off my DC04 nozzle every couple of minutes despite trying out all of the adaptors. I contemplated taking it back to Curry's, but I like the principle of dusting as I vacuum so I have perdsevered with it.

Amazon service amazing! I bought this product two days ago and it was delivered this afternoon. I put it together myself as it was so easy. I had avoided Dysons before as they are so expensive even though I had heard good reports about them. I really wish I had bought one earlier now! This machine is just superb. Not as noisy as my month old Vax which I really hated as it blows air at my face. Really easy to manouver. I love it!
