I bought this a few weeks ago when it was reduced to £179.99, as an upgrade from having a Kenwood Chef Classic. The kenwood chef was ok at mixing and kneading but this maching is amazing. So far since I have got this machine I have made: 100 cupcakes 2 10" xmas cakes 2 8" xmas cakes 2 6" xmas cakes 3 birthday cakes Pizza Bases Beef Burgers mountains of buttercream scones The mixer handles everything i throw at it with no problems. a 10" xmas cake is a lot of mix, 500g sugar, 500g butter, 9 eggs, 2 KG of fruit, 500g flour. I've given this five stars because it is a fantastic bit of kit and they give you a hell of a lot of accessories to go with it. It's gone up £19 since I bought it. But it is a good buy if you will use all the accessories that come with it. I've only made a carrot cake so only the basic items are needed - you have to ask yourselves if you really need all the extras or is a £40 version adequate. No problems at all with Kenwood I've got pretty much all I need. The graters are good and I mght try the chipper to go with my new Deep Fat Fryer. Oven chips stink!

I bought this in January and although I did use it a couple of times a week, this really is not up to the job. It's now broken. In fact it broke about a month ago. I put up with the oily smell that others had commented on but thought it would go. It didn't really. This time I'm going to buy a Kenwood as this one lasted for years and never complained about the amount of mixture! Don't buy it!!

I had it for 2 and a half years. I like Kenwood hand mixers. I use it for mixing cakes and whipping cream up.

Great all round blender, a little noisy but in terms of looks and build quality it's excellent. No problems so far

This is the worst blender I have ever owned. After about 2 weeks it started to leak through the bottom and all over the counter. Also cleaning it was a real pain. You have to take the whole thing apart which is a real drag. Do yourself a favour and don't buy this product. I will never buy another blender that has a pourer. All it adds is extra things to break and clean. At the end of the day who cares which part of the blender you pour from...

I bought this solely for the use of chopping up fruit and veg for my 9 month old daughter and i must say it works a treat! You are only able to fill the bowl half way with fruit/veg etc which is a little irritating but the size of the appliance is great for just tucking away in the cupboard when im done. When you want to chop however you cant do one long chopping session you have to do it in bits.You also must let the machine "rest",if it goes on too long then it stops chopping. I wouldnt recommend this product if you have alot of chopping to do as it does take time. But for jobs such as making my babys food its awesome.

This blender is very light and easy to use. Cheap too. I have three issues with it however. First it does not seem as powerful as others I have used (takes longer to get a smooth blend). Second I found that by trying to blend while cooking in a pan the plastic cutter shield softened, so distorted while I was moving it around the pan. I was to some extent able to bend it back, but not fully. Third, the apertures in the cutter shield get blocked very easily, so you have to keep stopping to fish things out.

Because of the price of this product I wasn't expecting too much from it but I was really surprised at how good it was. I had previously bought a large blender complete with mixing bowl and attachments but found it a bind to clean out after use and also it took up valuable space in my small kitchen. This little gem does almost everything my large blender can do. It will liquidise soups easily and can even tackle meat casseroles, provided the chunks of meat are not too large. I also use it to make smoothies with, though some fruits have to be cut into manageable chunks first.
