Got two of these little blue men recently both coming free with purchases over £20.00 (I think) They come in a range of colours so there is a colour suited to most peoples kitchens I would think. Really are quite good, especially as the hats are salt containers, so no more "Where's the salt?" Brilliant idea that they come with spoons, so that everything is all in one place in the cupboard (no more rushing about to find a little spoon). They look good on the kitchen table or on a shelf when not being used. A big hint now they also look good on a breakfast tray! Only downside though is that they are not dishwasher proof. Not only to be used for squeezing lemons, but oranges and grapefruit as well. It looks more like a cross between an object in the Barbarella film and a starship enterprise film. Often novelty products although appealing in concept are poorly executed -this dish is an exception. It is very well made and seems durable - the two stainless steel dishes are sturdy and just the right size for our two young cats. The main body is also well crafted and the extended tail of the "cat" makes the dish very easy to pick up and keep clean. Overall, a very good quality and novel but practical product. Recommended.

Bought a set of these as a present for my husband, he loves them, then again I think I have finally converted the family to become Alessi lovers. Look good on bottles or just sat on a kitchen shelf. A brilliant fit for wine bottles and not expensive either, so great as a small thank you present or stocking filler. A sure fire way of buying a designer item at a really cheap price, and who knows maybe a collectable piece in years to come. Would be great for summer barbies, no more flies or wasps going into bottles, but also not stopping the table from looking great either. Go on give your outdoor party table some funky designer fun. I thought this for a while too - but it turns out you have to wind it fully, then counterwind it back, and then set the time. Works perfectly every time then.

This is such a great Alessi item, the colour is so bright it cheers up any kitchen. The bunny moves around in a circle on the base meaning that the kitchen roll doesnt get loose. Its really thick plastic which means if you do accidently drop it unlike most things it wont actually great...so get this in your kitchen now! you wont be disappointed..
