Bosch Sensixx TDA8353 Steam Iron Comfort Secure 2400W This is the best iron I've ever used and I've been through a few! It makes my most hated chore easy. The free speedy delivery from Amazon was superb too. A VERY happy customer!

I have purchased one of these machines after having a braun one and i will urge people NOT to buy this machine. As mentioned in a previous comment about t discs being burst by the bosch tassimo machine i myself have experienced this happening to myself BUT i received first degree burns because when the T disc burst (cafe crema) it poured out BOILING water and STEAM all over my hand !! BOSCH now have my machine for examination yet tonight 17-11-2008 yet another T Disc has exploded pouring milk everywhere. Obviously i think it is about time i contacted the health and safety executive about this machine. Do NOT BUY THE BOSCH Machine. (You have been warned)

Luckily got this coffee/tea/chocolate machine for £79.95 with free shipping, at the time it was £10.00 cheaper than Tesco Direct. The machine is quality built and really presents you with a superb drink of your choice and in double quick time too. Easy to keep clean and to use. Some would probably think that drinks made this way are expensive, I do think they would have a point. However, if it's a good tasting drink made quickly and without fuss you are looking for then this is for you. Do take the cost of the 'discs' (obtainable at any big supermarket...Asda/Tesco's etc)into consideration before you take the plunge. Overall, a nice item of 'luxury'.

Bosch build a great-looking kettle, gracing any kitchen counter-top. We were really pleased with the design and the function of this kettle - easy to pour, boiled quickly, no problems with the metallic taste issue. But after 18 months, it suddenly started to leak gently at all the seams - a crust of limescale appeared at each seam around the base and either side of the handle. Now it's puddling water from the base, and we're looking for another model. Wouldn't you expect a kettle to last longer than this?

Usually we buy Bosch and we have had excellent quality dish washers, washing machines, lawn mowers etc. But this item was absolutely awful - terrible design - the balance is all wrong, the component parts fall apart if you aren't careful transporting the iron from the cupboard to wherever you want to iron, the iron has a tendency to give brown marks to clothing,we currently have steam coming out from the back where the wiring should be and I could go on...blah...blah...blah...It's so awful I don't want to waste any more time on it and neither should you. Buyer beware!

I bought this mainly because I'd seen many kettles with broken filters and this one has a metal filter. Add to that the facts that it's Bosch, smart, rapid, has a concealed element and a gauge, and it was an easy decision. Actually got it from John Lewis (the only stockist at the time) for a similar price. A couple of years on and it's still going strong. If you live in a hard water area (like Cambridge), descale monthly with vinegar (don't use chemicals, they're not nice and will degrade the materials in the kettle over time - if Bosch recommend vinegar over shop-bought descaler, why waste your money): fill kettle with water, boil, add a cup of white vinegar, leave for a few hours/overnight (soak the filter in vinegar at the same time); in the morning, ...
