I purchased this cat flap a few months ago, it seemed the answers to my prayers with other cats coming in and eating my cat's food. We read the insructions, and continued to install the cat flap. To my great dissapointment, my cat is unable to use the flap. The instructions stated that the flap can be used with metal doors, but unfortunatley and many wasted hours this is not the case. The cat flap cannot be used with metal doors. We even cut extra 1/2 inch all around the cat flap and lined the door with plain wood. The flap has been a pure waste of money, the manufacturers have not been much help. The hole in my door is far too big to just put an ordinary flap in as the Super Selective is very big.
