Brilliant machine, we had a DC01 previously and thought that was good but the Dc07 knocks spot off that, great suction. On the down side its a little heavy but we can live with that. Once again the service from Amazon was excellent .ordered on friday got it by the next friday, considering I paid by cheque I dont think that was bad,and it was free delivery.

Really happy with this, its a lot of money but definately worth it. Its so easy to manouver and its small size means its easy to store. I couldn't believe the stuff that came out of the carpet the first time I used it!! Ideal for someone with a 2 bed house and wrist problems!

Having satisfactorily owned hoover, panasonic, electrolux and goblin vacuum cleaners over the years I was a little sceptical about this new design machine, not least the cost of it. I have found the DC25 far superior to any other vacuum cleaner I have owned. Its exceptionally effective at cleaning, very maneuverable and relatively light weight. Taking into account the 5 year guarantee that comes with this cleaner I consider the Dyson DC25 to be very good value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - in fact I will be purchasing another one - for my mother-in-law for next Christmas (2008).

I'd thought about buying a Dyson for ages but thought they were just too expensive, however I found this one on Amazon for £199.99 - £100 cheaper than anywhere else!! It arrived this morning (I ordered it yesterday and paid a little extra for express delivery, which was well worth it) and I am SO pleased with it! I've been hoovering all morning!! My carpets look like new again!! It is a fantastic machine - very powerful suction - picks up all hairs and also all pet hairs. Great design, great attachments and lightweight. It's also very quiet too - which is a great bonus. It is by far the BEST vacuum cleaner I've ever owned and the best £200 I've ever spent!! If you're dithering over getting one - just buy it!

My Dyson Root 6 gave me 8 minutes of power in my first 3 hour charge, which was more than I was expecting. However, the great suction was the reason I bought it in the first place, and it hasn't let me down one little bit. It picks up little stones and fine dust with no problems. The brush attachment is good for litle hairs too. I only use it to clean my car and it does a great job. It's very lightweight, compared to other "dustbusters" I have owned, and the slim nozzle gets into all the crevices (even between the seats and doors!) I bought this model having been persuaded by friends that Dyson made excellent vacuum cleaners, but I have not found it that good at all. Here are my issues with it: 1) It's heavy and bulky 2) The hose often gets tangled up and loses suction 3) The drum gets clogged up before filling up and emptying it is messy 4) The attachments are not a good shape for getting into awkward spots 5) There is no storage for the attachments- they are easy to lose! Overall I regret buying this machine and won't be buying another Dyson ever again!

Just got it today, VERY EASY TO USE. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT its around 5 kilograms but you dont need to hold on to it. Beautiful design of machine and package, (whom ever packs them must be a mensa genius, you will see why when you buy one). VERY SMALL dyson design, very cute, and space saving too. VERY USEFUL and tiny you could carry it in your school/college/kit/gym-bag. VERY HARD... VERY QUIET, unbelievably compared to the old models. Comes with a good range of attachments. MADE IN MALAYSIA. I have owned a Dyson for the last approx 8 years, and for approx, 8 of them I have been unhappy with the product. Despite this fact, I bought a Dyson 'Animal' to replace the original DC04 that had permaturely burnt out. That was my big mistake. Honestly - please DO NOT believe the hype - Dysons are Indonesian made and distinctly BELOW average hoovers. They are INCREDIBLY loud - I am amazed that UK health & safety have overlooked these appliances ( I wonder why...). They are incredibly heavy. In their advertisements they say that other brand vacuum cleaners have no way to turn corners because of their four wheel system - NOT TRUE. this is a wonderful tool, and fits my DC20 Animal perfectly. just a quick sweep over furniture, Pc's,TV etc and the dust is gone. the bristles are very soft and its fine on my LCD TV. the best thing about this item is that it cuts dusting time and there are no dust clouds or manky dusters - all the dust goes straight into the vacuum. MAGIC!

We bought this to replace an ageing DC05 which after many years use had reached the stage of disintegrating. As the previous reviewer noted the first thing you notice is that the DC20 is generally much larger than the older models (and presumably has much more suction). The larger size is compensated for as regards storage by the clever design of the wand which telescopes into 3 sections to allow storage in a small space. This does have the disadvantage that the wand is pretty thick and heavy when telescoped which is a nuisance when used for dusting etc. Having said that with the handle at the top the wand is very nice to use for cleaning when extended.
