I have only had these scales a few weeks, but i think they are brilliant. I only wish i had bought them ages ago. They make cooking so easy. The scales are so self explanatory that no instrustions are required. They are slim and so easy to store away. Only problem is im baking cakes all the time now, just to have an excuse to use my scales. Money well spent.

The choice for us came down to either £130 to replace the timer on our over or £10 for one of these little gadgets. We went for the £10 option without a moment's thought and really like the choice we have made. The ability to time multiple dishes or the individual stages of a single dish makes this timer invaluable.

I've owned these scales for a while now. I love the sleek design and zero function !! So easy to use and appear to be very accurate. I like the fact that I can put a bowl on it, press zero, pour in my contents and it gives me my reading. If you are making a mix that requires multiple items, you could click zero again and add the next item.

I bought these scales from the recommendation on 'customer's review' I was struggling with my old scales trying to work out the exact amount of grams which I needed to be exact as I am on a diet. They are brilliant, just put any container on the scales turn on, select preferred weighing measurement and that's about it, and comes with good guarantee. Also,if your kitchen space is limited, these are the scales for you, they are very compact, overall, a good buy and have no hesitation on recommendation.

I bought this to replace a previous Salter timer which had mysteriously gone 'missing'. This one's very similar, except that the alarm is louder and goes on for longer. That's very useful if you happen to step away for a few minutes. Also, the previous one was only audible if I was in the same room. But this model is quite high pitched, and I can easily hear it from 2 rooms away. If you don't always need the alarm, you can save time and just set it to run, and it will count upwards. For example, if I'm cooking something that needs 2 minutes quick frying, I just press the start button and wait for 2 minutes to pass. I really like these neat little timers. Not useful if you need to look from a distance but a nice loud beep, count up as well as down, and very easy to set up. They are more robust than you might think. Cheap too (when I bought it - it has doubled in price since!). I would buy these again.

Simple to use and extremely effective at sharpening all my knives - big & small blades, as well as kitchen scissors. Small enough to be stored away and portable enough not to be a hassle to use.

Nice looking. However, looks are not everything. These scales go up in 2g so to obtain 15g you have to put sufficient on the scale to have it flashing between 14 & 16g. The real disapointment is that the scales are not consistant, I weighed the same item several times and found the readout different. I'm looking for another set to replace these.

I have several different timers. This one was the most expensive, the first for the buttons to stick, and doesn't count up from zero, only down from the input time. I would not recommend it.

This little thing has two modes: clock and timer, depending upon which way up it is. There are simple buttons on each end allowing you to set the appropriate data and it makes a loud beeping noise when it goes off. I got one of these for my mum (who's 60) and she loves just watching the little virtual grains of sand trickle past. Much more entertaining than the wind up timers :)
