Bought these a couple of weeks ago, I like techie gadgets and so I bought them for the new kitchen I have been installing. When I described them to her I got the feeling I had made a mistake, however once she started using them she was very happy. The zero and add the next ingredient feature is good, the instant switch from ozs to grams likewise and the time and temp displays useful. The scales are well designed, work well, don't take up much space and are pleasing to the eye. Quite what else one could ask from a set of kitchen scales I am uncertain. However what use the conversion to mille litres and fluid ounces is I am not sure, seems a gimmick, as 1fl oz of water weighs the same as 1oz, and 1ml of water weighs 1 gram so the numbers displayed ... This is a perfectly standard kitchen timer but with one major flaw - the display is invisible! A transparent background might have seemed like a good idea but against the vast majority of surfaces the display is invisble. You can set the timer and it does its job beeping at the appropriate time but it's very difficult to just quickly glance at the clock and see how long is left. Yes it's only one point that fails but there are so many kitchen timers available that there's no reason to get one with a drawback like that.
