I've just spotted these on Amazon and as I've had mine for over 2yrs just had to do a review to explain how they are supposed to be used as some people are obviously having trouble. To wedge open/shut a door etc you hold the thickest part of the Flux at the top of your hand and the thinnest part at the bottom (as though you were trying to scoop something off the floor with the thin profile) then you just push this under the door and curl up as you push until it finds it's natural stop. You do not lay it down flat. If you have installed it correctly it should look like a 'quote' mark stood on it's tail holding your door open or closed. Hope this helps. There's very little one can say about an air-tight container, but I'll do my best. Lock & Lock must be the highest quality air-tight containers you can get. I use them to store coffee beans, ground coffee, cheese, cookies, etc. They also appear to be water-tight, with excellent blue plastic seals that last a long time. They are translucent plastic, and the picture shown on the side of the container in the picture for this item is simply a removable insert. The sticker on the lid, however, needn't be removed. We bought this rubberised door stopper for our home office/spare room. The item is very lightweight and doesn't always grip well on wooden floors it seems, specially old varnished floorboards like we have. The door it is supposed to stop is some old door too, maybe too heavy for what it can do. It is possible that this would work better on more modern, lighter doors and on carpet floors. Not totally happy with the end result but at least it wasn't expensive. Just a shame Amazon don't carry other types of door stoppers.

The first problem with this item is that you cannot return it once used (for obvious reasons). Therefore, by the time I realised what a load of rubbish it was, it was too late. The Garlic Card is a piece of coloured plastic with the letters GCGCGC indented across it numerous times. It does pulp the garlic into a fine mush (after a good 15 minutes of overly-laborious rubbing), but most of this pulp remains stuck between the cards indentations, even after rinsing through with water. I could achieve the same effect by rubbing a garlic clove across the indented name strip on my credit card, which incidentally, is now two pound short.

You might see other reviews commenting on how wonderful these 'stoppers' are. Forget it! First, apply them correctly - although there are no instructions. The ',' shape should be placed under a door or window like a comma with the bottom of the comma under the door. In terms of keeping a door or window open they need to be suitable for this type of application - don't try and use them for a sash window for example. They just don't work that well. I'd advise using a brick instead.
