I bought a KM001 18 months ago to replace an original 60's machine I inherited off my mum that finally died. Decided to buy this attchment too. Brilliant and so easy. The wife is in awe over how quick it is to use. The brother-in-law (a chef) bought us a hand maker, which was used twice and hidden in a cupboard, too much work. But this is a breeze. Fresh pasta in no time, mix the dough in the main bowl and trickle it directly into the maker. Easy to clean too. Recommended

Only put 1 star to get your attention. Was dissapointed not to see warning about it (and all other induction hobs) not being suitable for people with pacemakers. Thought I'd just mention it! Otherwise would have to buy it and send it back.

We purchase a Bosch toaster and went to buy the matching Bosch stainless steel kettle but changed our minds after reading all the negative reviews concerning the bad tasting water. However, we experienced the same problems as owner of the Bosch kettle - we been unable to get rid of the plastic/metallic taste in the water after boiling. After two weeks of owning the kettle, the taste in the water was still a strong. We wrote to Kenwood customer services and they wrote back very quickly and offered a replacement direct from them or suggested returning the kettle back to retailer for an exchange or refund. This toaster lasted just over 2 months before the eject mechanism jammed, rendering it unusable. The build quality is shocking. Unfortunately, I bought it before the other negative reviews started appearing. I would have thought a big name like Kenwood would actually test their products before selling them, but in this case apparently not. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

TASTES A LITTLE DRY COMPARED TO MY USUAL MICROWAVE BUTTER/SALTED PACKS BUT ITS GOT TO BE MUCH HEALTHIER. IT TAKES UP A LOT OF ROOM IN THE CUPBOARD THOUGH
