This machine looks great, and the coffee is good. The steamer works well. But this machine,s has a big down side, when it has delivered the coffee it continues to drip, so you have to remove the cup and replace it whith a empty cup to catch all the drips, and boy does it drip.I can't beleave how much Amazon is chargeing for this machine, you can buy this in most shops or online for uder £70.

. I've just received my order today and having washed the parts thoroughly, I set about using it right away! I have found it chops thick and thin slices of vegetables brilliantly. It chops uniformly and accurately - never had leeks looking so neat before. The speed it processes the food is mega quick. I chops continuously and the greatest advantage over a food processor is that food continually passes through the chute and into the Kenwood bowl, allowing you to easily separate e.g. different types of vegetables. One thing I will say is that it is an acquired technique and the order you do the various functions is mightly important to get consistent results. Kenwood FP108 300W compact food processor We've just spent an entertaining hour or so assembling this mixer. The instruction manual is hopelessly non-sequential, and the print is as miniscule as ... oh, War & Peace on the back of a matchbox. The kitchen resembles the sort of thing when you suggest the children have fun doing a bit of baking & pop out for five minutes. The good news seems to be that it mixes efficiently, although we haven't eaten the results yet. I'm sure it's a good mixer, but unless you have miraculous eyesight and infinite resources of patience and never row, I'd treat it with caution. Simon (and Jean who is now lying down) from London.

After only half a dozen uses, this blender just died outright, emitting a little blue spark inside and then completely dead. Changed fuses with no effect. This blender was then returned and a new one was sent out with no problems - however, within the first few tries, this blender encountered exactly the same problem. The electricals blew resulted in a second dead blender. Both times it had blown, the jug was not even half full of soup. This time I returned it to Kenwood with a detailed description of what had happened (twice!). After chasing the matter up with them, they had an engineer take a look at it, claiming it was working fine and returned it to me. Of course when I plugged it in, it was dead as a doornail. tap broke after about 10 uses and was very difficult to clean- fruit gets stuck it the tap and reappears the next time its used.

For a travel kettle what did I want? Compact - yes, Lightweight - yes Reasonable time to boil - yes. Note the instructions state 5 mins for 240v and nearly 6 mins for 110v. Given the 450ml (0.8 pint for silver surfers) and the 650 watt heating element these times are to be expected from simple physics. First boil took just under 5 mins but the water was room temperature to begin with. So if you are away on holiday and using bottled water dont use water from the fridge if you want your hot drink in 5 mins! Cups and spoons - bonus. The cups have no handles but are thick plastic with an even thicker rim at the top. So they don't get 'too hot to hold'. The cups and spoons fit inside the kettle for transport. This leave ... I bought this coffee grinder on the strength of the previous two reviews and I have to say I totally agree with them. This Kenwood coffee grinder is great. It is very easy to use: just push down the button for a few seconds and you have perfect coffee. Another great adavantage is that it is compact so you can take it with you when you travel. I wouldn't be without it. I brought a lot of coffee beans back from a trip round Central America and find that the beans from Guatemala and Panama make particularly good coffee.
