I bought this pan from Amazon, and it is very good value and well made. But it has one glaring fault:- The handle gets boiling hot when in use. The instructions say "WARNING The handles of your cookware could become hot. Please use oven gloves or an oven glove at all times." Oven gloves are for removing hot items from the oven, not for each time one wishes to move a pan on/off the cooker. It is simply not acceptable these days to have handles that can badly burn the skin (which happened to me.) Even cheap pans costing a couple of pounds have bakerlite or similar to prevent burns. I dont want to put anyone off buying it. As I say, it is basically well constructed and solid, and does an effective job. Read More:

This is my most important cooking utensil. I bought it to avoid harmful non-stick coatings. I use it for frying, making pancakes, heating food with virtually no oil. As its heavy I tend to lift food out of it with wooden spatulas. Or use an oven glove on the hot handle. Seldom seen in shops I would highly recommend this pan, and do not see the need to buy coated cast iron pans. Cleans easily. I just wipe mine with a dry kichen paper towel or use very hot water.

I have to honestly say that this is the most valuable for money roster with rack i have seen because the quality is fantastic and heavy duty with Xmas coming i know this will get alot of usage, to be not just Xmas all year round so need to go paying over the odds for a brand name roaster. If you are thinking of buying this as a present i highly recommend it so get yours before it's too late...
