I got two boxes of these Kenwood filters to use with my Brita kettle, and although they fit into the filter slot they are noticeably slower than the Brita branded cartridges. If you compare the slots around the filter, the Brita ones have many more and will obviously let more water through in the same time. The Kenwood cartridges only have about 8 slots all the way round! Most filter jugs have sloped sides to keep the water level above the wider top openings for as long as possible, however my kettle has quite a flat pre-filter reservoir, so with only one or two cups worth of water it takes a while before you're ready to go (it's not always convenient to fill the kettle in advance) I'll be switching back ... I purchased this for my daughter, who has taken up cooking with great gusto...as she misses her Mums home cooking, bless her....Well, this product splashed everywhere! She was blending berries in the chopper compartment (as I can with my Braun) as she and the kitchen was covered with red juice!.....so don't bye this one!!!

My mum bought her Kenwood mixer when I was 14. I inherited it when she died and I eventually ditched it last year - it was getting very noisy - but still worked very well. I am now 60 and I am about to buy a new one but I expect it will outlast me ! Well done Kenwood.

I was in two minds about buying an ice cream maker but in the end opted for this one. The reviews were mixed but more in favour of this machine. I ahve to say that this is the easiest machine I have used - in 20mins you have ice cream...how easy is that. Ive not tried any of the recipes in the book that came with it, I got mine from the internet. I would definately recommend this machine. One word of warning though don't over fill it as it expands when it freezes.

I brought this product to make homemade baby food and it was definitely a good purchase. I have successfully blended vegetables, meat and fruit. I have only used the food processer blade and not sure I will use the others but it's always handy to have. The product is also compact and looks good on the kitchen side.

I have used this to fry samosas, spring rolls and other savouries and they have turned out fine. So far the fryer has been easy to use, the timer is quite handy too and it is easy to dismantle for cleaning. On the downside; the frying basket is quite small and the viewing window steams up easily hence 4 stars, but the lid is easy enough to open to check contents. Otherwise a great product particularly because it can be cleaned easily. I really shopped around before buying this one and would recommend as it represents goood value for money at under £40.

I've owned the "classic" 4-slice Dulait toaster for the past 10 years which, to be fair, is a heck of a long time and only two elements have gone (but boy are they costly to replace). Well, it was as the second element failed that I began to look around and I saw this one on Amazon and read the excellent reviews. I popped it in my saved basket as I tend to do whilst contemplating a purchase. I was delighted therefore last week to find the price reduced to about the same, or slightly less, than the cost of repairing my Dualit. I ordered it and, as is the case with Amazon, it came really quickly, even on free Supersaver delivery. We bought this because of all the positive reviews saying it was excellent for homemade bread, but it's HOPELESS. Blade is unbelievably blunt (my husband was able to hold his finger against it whilst operating it without getting cut!), rotates so slowly that it takes around 10 mins to slice up a 2lb loaf, and the exit angle for the cut slice is so wide that (as other reviewers have noted) it just splits and mangles fresh bread. After attempts to modify it so that it might possibly be some use, we gave up and bought a manual slicer on Ebay - much better!

Posh sandwiches! I've used all sorts of bread -From very thick Ciabatta to very thin pitta -all fantastic. Takes very little time to heat up. A few minutes to cook. If you mke a mess with the cheese DON'T WORRY!! as soon as it cools it just easily wipes off! Unfortunately the plug doesn't stow away easily BUT the sandwiches ARE great!
