i bought this food processor primarily due to the size... i wanted it to stay out on the counter so i would use it. the footprint of the processor means that it does. it has lots of accessories and tools (double whisk, juicer, rasper, slicers, dough blade, etc) with it that you need to store separately, however, they don't take much room. the jug is an adequate size for a small family too and you get a liquidiser attachment too. overall, i'm very pleased with this processor, it's done everything really well is a great size. the only negative, is the jug and its lid and the liquidiser appear to have been made in quite a thin plastic and i'm not sure how long they'll last... so far so good :-)

I bought this for my boyfriend over a year ago (May 2007). He uses it 4 times a week before he goes to the gym and to date there are no problems with it. It's easy to use and clean (he handwashes it as he doesn't have dishwasher - don't know if this might affect others that have gone bad) and it very hygenic - clean small areas with a bottle brush. It's particularly great at keeping your smoothie cold as it is a steel jug. Perhaps the others that have gone wrong are defective or mistreated. Due to the amount this maker is used, I'd well recommend it for regular use.
