This little hoover sounded great and I was impressed by how light it was to handle. The swivel head is really good and makes it better than others I've seen such as ewbank. However my long hair blocked up the carpet brushes very quickly (after only about 3 uses) and caused the belt to come off. We bought another type only to find the same thing occurred. It also can't get into corners etc. This hoover would probably be great for an older person (with short hair), but it can't handle longer hair and possibly animal hairs.

I purchased this product in August last year from a shopping channel. It worked fine for 10 months and then the switch went 'bang' on me. I sent the product for repair in June and it was returned to me in August having had a new motor and switch. The switch has just gone again (October) and I am afraid that I am just going to put it to the bin. The cleaner was very good when it worked and steam cleaned the beds and all my floors, but I feel the design of it is the problem. To top it all when it was repaired I was sent a bill even though the product was under guarantee.
