I'VE HAD ONE OF THESE FOR A WHILE AND AM JUST BUYING A SECOND TO TAKE ON HOLIDAY WITH ME - I WAS REALLY SURPRISED BY THE OTHER REVIEWS - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT - YOU STICK THE GARLIC IN THE SIDE, TURN THE DIAL AND THEN POP OUT THE INSIDE WHICH HAS A PADDLE WITH PERFECTLY CRUSHED GARLIC ON IT - THEN YOU JUST SLIDE IT APART, RINSE UNDER THE TAP AND ITS READY FOR NEXT TIME. IT IS BY FAR AND AWAY THE BEST, EASIEST TO USE AND EASIEST TO CLEAN GARLIC CRUSHER I'VE EVER HAD AND I AM A QUALIFIED CORDON BLEU CHEF!

For mums like me sick of trying to get cling film to stick on hard plastic ice cube trays full of mush this is a little wonder. The lid does not click shut but it does the job in protecting the contents. The holes, as far as I can tell, hold just as much as a conventionally shaped ice cube tray. Just don't leave the puree in there for more than 48 hours or you need to take a hammer to the tray. Otherwise they pop out beautifully after a couple of uses when the rubber bases are worn in a bit. Much better than Mummy cubes or Brother Max. And far less money.
