I am simply overjoyed with this excellent utensil and it has made peeling anything, never mind potatoes, a breeze! I know it's pretty sad to get all worked up over a peeler (!) but Oxo really have done the business here and even awkward roots like ginger become much easier to deal with. A great tool for anyone who enjoys cooking and I guarantee you will actually try and find things to peel, when you've run out of spuds :D

Having read such positive reviews, I decided to buy the spinner, but unfortunately my experience wasn't positive at all. The spinner broke after 3 months of using - the whole pushy system suddenly fell apart to my and my boyfriend's huge astonishment, as we didn't do anything to it that could cause a damage! The previous spinner, which was a completely different model, last for over 6 years... I sent an email to the company asking for a refund but the manufacturer could only offer me a replacement. I accepted that offer (well, it's quite a lot of money at the end of the day) but unfortunately, after a month of several emails and phone calls, I still haven't received it and no-one is getting back to me. These tongs are really well made. They are the first good grips item I have purchased, and I am so pleased with them, I shall definitely consider purchasing other products in this range. There is a 12 inch version available,although I find the 9 inch is ideal for my needs of griddling and frying meat. To lock the tongs, just squeeze them together and pull the end where you hang them up. I highly recommend these, and I think they would even make a nice gift for keen cooks.

If you want a potato masher where the shaft doesn't feel as though it's going through your palm this is the one for you. For anyone with a weak hand or arm, the well designed handle allows better leverage for mashing with less effort. You won't regret buying this.

Only received this product today but very impressed with its sturdy construction, especially after having bought another tin opener in Asda earlier in the week which actually fell apart the first time I tried to use it! My only adverse comment is that, as a left hander, I was very disappointed to find it is for right-handed use only. I am able to use it as I am a bit ambidextrous but suspect it would not be so good for "pure" lefthanders. That said, it is a really good quality piece of equipment and would definitely recommend it to right handers.

Handles fill with water in the dishwasher, garlic squeezes out the side of the compartment when crushed, hinge snapped after a couple of months of use. Poor design, appalling build quality.

I bought this jug as I'm a bit of a sucker for things that look a bit different, and I was fed up with being unable to find my current measuring jug (which, quite typically, reappeared the day this one arrived)! This jug is brilliant for measuring accurately from standing, as opposed to bending down to the level of the jug. The handle gives very good grip, and the jug as a whole feels more robust and sturdier than it looks. My old measuring jug may have reappeared, but I'm not going to be using it again any time soon now I have this beauty from Oxo!!!
