It is light, easy to use, looks good and makes short work of ironing cotton, denim and linen. It is much lighter than my old Rowenta Laser iron and doesn't spit or drip water when ironing. I found the water reservoir easy to use (some reviewers have thought it difficult)and love the blue light. Even on dry denim jeans I didn't have to use the steam control on a high setting - 'cotton' and number 2 did the trick.

I've just ordered my second Senseo machine, as the first, although making good coffee, leaked after only a few months! I had read that this could happen in various reviews. Also I am finding that it doesn't put the correct measure into the cup/mug, ie when you press the button for a mug/2 cups, you are only getting a single measure! Then when it decides to, it often fills the mug to the top!!!!! Saying that, it IS a good value coffee machine. I just hope my second one performs a bit better!

These lights are effective. They truly do give the impression of being real candles, and are very easy to use. After charging for 12 hours on the charging stand, the candles are removed and can be placed anywhere, together or separately, indoors or outdoors, where they will continue to give a soft flickering light for up to around 24 hours. Turning them on and off is achieved by simply tilting the candle to the side. Some times you need to tilt them a couple of times in order to work, but I have never had a problem. I bought this kettle on the basis of all the positive reviews. It took us months to decide on a kettle (silly, right? ... but researching online and then physically going to see what they look like in a store takes a bit of time). We loved the way it looked, it boiled quickly and it looked pretty trendy without breaking the bank. I bought this juicer about March 2008 when me and my partner turned into raw food vegans. This means we use the juicer at least 2x a day, every day. At first we thought it's good value for money, because the price is very affordable. It's also not that difficult to clean, and it looks stylish. I like the wide mouth, saves us having to slice all the time! Later on however, we notice that the pulp is getting wetter and wetter. We've had it for about 4 months now, and nowadays the pulp appears almost like really wet mash, especially when we use pineapples. I wouldn't say I know much about ironing, and I've never particularly liked doing it, but I decided to replace our old steam iron with this one and I have been really impressed. I find it makes a much better job of the ironing, so I get through it quicker. The steam seems to take out all the creases. I have only tried the ionic steam once so far(on a pair of jeans) and it really worked well. It is easy to fill and not too heavy to hold. The protective cover for the hotplate is useful too. I also like the fact that you can adjust the steam.

I bought this item in 2006 and used it during the summer months of 2007 (mainly). With the start of summer 2008 we decided to use the blender to make smoothies only to find that the motor died. Philips are unable to replace the item due to the fact that we know longer have the receipt and with the cost to fix it, we are better off just purchasing another blender. I have given the item three stars because whilst it worked it was really a good product. Don't lose the receipt and when the motor dies you will have better luck than I did. For the amount of money we originally spent on the item I would have thought it would have lasted longer than two years. Unfortunately this seems to be a problem with most Philips items.
