We saw a similar product on holiday in Turkey, so I sought out these Philips LED Rechargeable Candle Lights on my return last year and shall be buying them for others as Christmas gifts this year. They look so pretty when "lit". You literally just turn them upside down to turn on or off. Great idea if you like candles but have children around.

I was somewhat offput by the cost at first but Amazon cut the price and I decided to buy one and have not since regretted it. Firstly, don't think of this as a light source, it is not, it's designed for mood lighting in an otherwise darkened room. The best way to use it, at least for me, it is to locate it in a corner in a room with white or plain walls angled upwards. You can then just keep on for a pleasant moody atmospheric lighting changing it as the fancy takes you or just allowing it to cycle through its' auto setting. If you have the money for it you can buy up half a dozen of them and they will work together to create ( I imagine) a stunning effect. Remember that the LED light source is non replaceable ...
