and I love coffee. I must admit the first one we got didnt boil the water so went straight back with it, ive read since there has been a problem. However no complaints about this one, the first one I tried was a mugsize, I have large mugs and it fills it to the top so be careful, a normal sized mug wouldnt do. It came out boiling hot but no room for milk so sipped a bit out to fit it in, perfect, lovely tasting coffee with a frothy top. Ive only had it a week but using it twice a day at least, I now use the cup size, put the milk in the micro for 20 seconds as I prefer it that way and use a smaller mug. Designed by idiots for idiots and reviewed bt idiots.I bought 1 of these on the basis of the reviews.First thing to clarify which was missleading is this is a coffee bag - like a tea bag is a tea bag, and its not a pod. The strength - weakness is a better word was very similat for a 1 cup and 2 cup measure.It was not strong enough,The best cup I made was putting the coffee bag in a cup like a tea bag.What a joke.One up for the marketing people.

It looks good, it makes very nice coffee, BUT!!!! when you come to remove the parts for washing afterwards, it causes coffee drips on your machine, on your breakfast bar, & on the floor!!! Worst of all, it drips down the front of the body of the machine, and if you're not quick enough, it runs between the joint of the main body and the base!! Very poor design fault by such a respected company!!! The best way to prevent "the mess" is to press a piece of kitchen roll tissue tight against the coffee pourer nozzle as you remove it from the machine. That works!!

I have owned one of these Senseo coffee machines since Nov. 06 and have been extremely pleased with it. Very easy to use and easy to clean. No jug of coffee sitting stewing, just fresh full flavour coffee every cup. One pod per cup is great as in our house everyone has a different strength preference, and as you can buy decaf, mild, medium, dark roast and many more, everyone can have the one they enjoy the best. My daughter and son in law have just stayed with me for a week and on their return to Belgium discarded the filter machine which they have been using and went and bought a Senseo as they were so impressed with it!

Just bought this machine which is great. While in the Uk it may sometimes be difficult to find the pods, try a trip to France. Most supermarkets stock at least 6 varieties of pods, go to Auchun and get 12 including Cappuccuno, vienna, espresso, corse, arabica just to name 5.

I can't believe some of the comments written about this machine. I have owned and been using this machine daily for several years. The only down side to this machine is that the water tank is not big enough if you use it as often as we do. I purchased a double size water tank that fits this machine as we use this machine quite a bit, I don't know how we ever managed with the small water tank! You can get a tea pod holder. You can also buy refillable pod adapters so you can use your own loose ground coffee these work really well. As for the coffee not being very hot? We filter our water and leave the filter on a work top so the water can vary from cold to room temperature, I have my coffee black and my Husband has his white we've ... Read More:

This is the ideal machine for those who appreciate excellent coffee, but don't want to have a great big cafetiere full. The machine is simplicity itself, a five year old could make coffee with this! The coffee is amazing too - I wish I had bought this wonderful item before. It takes up very little space, and is stylish too.
