Having worn out two Krups coffee mills in two years (blades snapped mid-grind), I realized that I was going to have to upgrade. Unfortunately, never having used a burr mill grinder before, I wasn't quite prepared to splash out on the Dualit (come on...£40 is lot to punt on something you've never used before), so I looked for a more reasonable alternative. The Russell Hobbs was it. So far, I have no complaints whatsoever, and we're up to around the one year mark, with no visible signs of wear and tear. The grind variation is very helpful and copes brilliantly between cafetiere and espresso options used in my flat.
