We found that this microwave was £50 dearer in the shops. We ordered on Friday afternoon and to our amazement it arrived Saturday morning, what service. We have had a Sharps microwave for the last 13 years and are really pleased with the new one although we have only just unpacked it

Previously I owned a Sharp microwave which served me well for 14 years before giving up the ghost, therefore I decided to stick with the Sharp brand for a replacement. The R259SL is a stylish, compact model and the silver finish would compliment any kitchen style. It is easy to set up - just plug in and go! If you're looking for a conventional microwave for defrosting and reheating or for cooking nothing more complicated than a baked potato, then this is the one for you. It has Auto-cook, Express-cook and Express-Defrost features which are very handy. One tiny niggle is that the power level is shown in percentage terms, (High = 100%, Medium High = 70% etc)so you have to remember which is which, but I guess it's just a matter of getting used ...
