I can't give this 5 stars, because I was honestly hoping for a little more light. I really wanted something to read by, and there is no way this is bright enough. With that in mind though, this has been surprisingly useful. It's dim enough that if my partner is home late I can leave it on the bedside table and still sleep. It does give a welcoming glow left on a windowledge, and is attractive enough to leave on the windowledge to charge up. I've used it as lighting whilst watching TV in an evening. I've even used it to go get logs after dark. It feels a little expensive compared to solar-powered garden lights, which actually give more light I think. Couldn't agree more with the other review here. I bought one of these 2 or 3 years ago. A mole wouldn't be able to see by the light it emits. Don't waste your money.
