I purchased a Tefal Vitesse Jug Kettle some years ago and it proved to be brilliant all round, sturdy, fast boiling, quiet, and no exposed element. It finally gave up after extensive use, a replacement was duly ordered. Boiling over with excitement when delivered, as cooking water in a saucepan on the hob was so tediouse, imagine my dissapointment when the new one wouldn't work because the switch was faulty. Duly complained and a replacement was sent, this arrived, but with a split in the back. Both kettles have been returned and the order cancelled. My original Vitesse was manufactured in France, the replacement's in China as seems to be the case with most things now, shame.

I love it. I planned to buy the Magimix M200, but was convinced by the man in Selfridges to get this one. It's similar to the M200, but is a much more solid and robust machine... generally more satisfactory in that department. I also prefer the matt silver colour. The coffee is the same that comes out of any other Nespresso, so I won't comment on that - but this one has an automatic cappuccino frother attachment that the Magimix M200 doesn't have. You can buy it as an addition to the M200, but is £35 - so you are better off stumping up the extra £40 and get this one that comes with it. The attachment is a little tube which you put into your carton of milk, so when you steam milk, it just draws out what it needs and gives you perfectly ... Read More:

I was disappointed with the function of this toaster as the long slot is not very tall. With a conventional height slice of bread sticking out of the top by a good inch and a half. You can, of course, lay the slice of bread down but then you can only fit one slice in. The form/appearance of this toaster cannot, however, be faulted and the toasting very even.

This product; although does what it states it will do; does not do it for very long. Terrible noise from motor; jug leaks after a few months. Buy a good quality hand blender instead.

If you look at the picture on this page, you'll see that the Moulinex Delicio comes with several attachments for different tasks. From left to right, as they appear in the picture: The chopping attachment does an acceptable job of chopping up whatever you put in the bowl. However, it has a tendency to throw things against the side of the bowl, so you have to keep shoving things down. For this purpose, a blender (with a tall, narrow bowl to hold items close to the blade) would probably work much better. The grating blade did an excellent job for us, until the disk that holds it broke during use, bombarding our grated cheese with bits of plastic and ruining it, thereby throwing our dinner plans rather out of whack. ...
