I have to agree with the previous reviews that this machine does suffer from some bad design flaws; that being said it produces good coffee with no "burning plastic" smell and no "tainted plastic" taste! I was worried about buying this at first, especially with the bad reviews, but for £10 it's an absolute bargain! You can easily avoid the coffee spilling by not brewing a full jug of coffee and the machine is stable enough if you are careful and not to heavy handed when removing and replacing the jug. I must say a big thank you to the previous reviews though as without them I would definately have discovered the problems they mention at my own cost!

Just brought this coffee maker and it looks amazing and makes fabulous coffee. I love the fact that you have an integrated spoon and space for your filters all hidden away neatly in the top. The stainless steel pot is smart, insulating and easy to clean. Yep, these pans are great, the stainless steel construction is the best I have owned, even when dishwashed. However, the non stick coating is really poor, and comes off before you know it! It states in the instructions for use that they are all dishwasher proof, but dont put the non stick pans in if you want them to make it past the end of their first year. I dont know if thats what caused mine to go, but they are whats known as stick-all pans now - the non-stick part has left us for good!!! :-)
