If I could rate this product with a minus rating I would. I awaited the arrival of this product with anticipation. However on arrival several parts were loose, my husband managed to "fix" them. However, the product is very hard to use. The button must be depressed at all times for the steam to work.. The power of steam is quite low and after holding the button continuously for several minutes, it becomes painful to use. The steam disperses sporadically and this product, I personally feel is quite hazardous because of this. My personal advise - look elsewhere. There are better, cheaper products out there, just do your research and don't believe all the hype.

As my mother has back problems, she required a light hoover, and preferred it to be bagless as it is less hassle. I bought her this hoover, and regret the day I did so! Rather than picking up dust, crumbs etc. this hoover merley moves them around. When placing your hand under the hoover nozzle, you can barely even feel the sucksion! Whether this attribute is common of bagless cylinder hoovers, or wether this is specific to this product, I for one will never be buying another of these EVER again. Terrible product! Stick to a henry in my opinion, and that is just what I am off to buy.

Arrived today, well packaged - after reading the instructions, I went straight into wash/clean the stairs and landing carpets. Worked a treat, one application - now carpets are clean and dry. Really pleased with this one - no problems at all.

bought this a few days ago .found it seemed to clean ok but suddenly found the cleaning solution coming out without me pressing the switch.also it seems that some dirty water gets into motor and comes out underneath .has anyone else had this problem?

The Vax Rapide PowerJet Pro V-028M has to be the worst thing I have ever purchased. It works occasionally, but most of the time it just dumps water on the carpet and leaves it there. Our local engineer has looked at it 3 times and still it doesn't work properly. Stay away from this piece of junk. In fact, from what I have been told keep away from Vax full stop. I had to give it a star rating but really it should get no stars.

I bought this a short while back but in a slightly different varient which included the turbobrush & turbotool, that I note cost extra for this one. The U varient costs only a little more, other changes are red in colour & Ultima on the side. I`ve had no problems with parts breaking. Good cleaner, good suction, just a little messy to empty.
