It worked for a few weeks, liked the size of the hover as we live in a flat but after some light use it gave up. We have taken it apart twice cleaning every part of it and it still sounds like it is going to blow up and has about the same suction as I would get with a straw and my own mouth. Dont waste your money, im off to buy a henry.

Bad points - Heavy, loud, gives off a lot of heat, the filter needs cleaning regularly, the hose has a really annoying plastic handle, and it doesn't pick up very well compared to other makes. Good points - It was cheap! (not purchased from Amazon) This hoover has seen its last carpet and is now in the shed, I think next time I'll fork out the extra for a Dyson.

I bought this product from another site for about 60pound. At my first go at using, it was fantastic. The Sucking Power Was Great and It cleaned up my house(2beds and stairs) very nicely. However that is only good thing i can say about the product. About one week later, when i started the hoover again, there was ABSOLUTELY NO SUCKING POWER. And when i tried to use it, there was a smell coming out of it. it smelled like rotten fish and egg. i cleaned the filter which took about 45mins. It doesn't get cleaned that much if you just wash it with running water. i found cleaning the filter very disgusting. Then i had to wait another 24hours for it get dry, so i can use it again. I searched high and low and read so many reviews when trying to choose a carpet cleaner for my home. In the end I decided just to go to the local Hydro shop and choose whichever they had their. They had the Bissell Pre-Heat Allrounder on offer for £199.99, so I chose this as I thought I would benefit from it being a 2-in-1 and being in a 2 bed terrace I don't have a lot of storage space. The vacuuming capabilities of this machine where fantastic - to start with. It really did bring up the carpets like new (on vacuum). However after a few weeks (of not using more than twice a week) the turbo brush stopped rotating. I emailed Customer Services who sent me a replacement free of charge within days.
