Caution - whilst this looks pretty, it doesn't pour at all well - remember this when you scald yourself/the cat ... bad design - angle the spout correctly next time Le Creuset, eh? - Not one for the Design Museum ... Oh, and, the whistle doesn't work either ...

Luckily got this coffee/tea/chocolate machine for £79.95 with free shipping, at the time it was £10.00 cheaper than Tesco Direct. The machine is quality built and really presents you with a superb drink of your choice and in double quick time too. Easy to keep clean and to use. Some would probably think that drinks made this way are expensive, I do think they would have a point. However, if it's a good tasting drink made quickly and without fuss you are looking for then this is for you. Do take the cost of the 'discs' (obtainable at any big supermarket...Asda/Tesco's etc)into consideration before you take the plunge. Overall, a nice item of 'luxury'.

This is a great little machine, very easy to use and froths things up a treat. It comes with the batteries required so you can get frothing right away. I mainly use it for Latte's & Hot Chocolate drinks and it is great for those - really useful tip is to insert the aerolatte into the liquid before turning it on !! (saves on laundry bills that way!) and also to remember that the frothing needs space to happen - so don't overfill your cup before starting to froth or you will just get lots of milk on your counter-top :) The hard case that comes with this model is a really good idea, it makes storage really easy and you don't have to worry about the aerolatte being crushed in a drawer or cupboard. happy ... I have tried many different coffee makers over the years ,and this model is best ever . easy and quick to use ,also pours beautifully :The coffee remains piping hot for a long time even after it has been switched off . We can still use left over later on in the day .just switch it back on to percolate again ,and it still tastes fresh :

This is a reasonable product at a reasonable price. It works well although, like all cafetierres, you need to use coarse ground coffee to avoid the sludge at the bottom of the cup. I would recommend that you buy yourself a decent coffee grinder and make your own grind. I remember reading somewhere that coffee from a cafetierre is the 'healthy' option as it's the extra heating of 'instant' (as part of it's processing) or percolated coffee, causes the formation of a compound that promotes cholestrol (it's not the caffeine!). Mind you, if you were worried about that, you'll probably be drinking green tea!

At only 500ml this is the perfect teapot for small quantities - does 2 cups easily with a bit left over. Looks good, works just perfectly, and generally does exactly what it says on the box. For fine teas, it will let just a very few fine leaves through into the tea but that doesn't bother me - tea bags often do the same. I'm using mine for herbal teas and you can generally infuse the same tea leaves a couple of times, giving you more cups of tea!

My tip: use coffee pods instead of grinding your own or using ready ground coffee. Cheaper, fresher and more convnient, plus no mess and no waste. Gaggia make their own pods, or alternatively you can buy other brands in most good supermarkets.

This machine looks great, and the coffee is good. The steamer works well. But this machine,s has a big down side, when it has delivered the coffee it continues to drip, so you have to remove the cup and replace it whith a empty cup to catch all the drips, and boy does it drip.I can't beleave how much Amazon is chargeing for this machine, you can buy this in most shops or online for uder £70.
