I have used this to fry samosas, spring rolls and other savouries and they have turned out fine. So far the fryer has been easy to use, the timer is quite handy too and it is easy to dismantle for cleaning. On the downside; the frying basket is quite small and the viewing window steams up easily hence 4 stars, but the lid is easy enough to open to check contents. Otherwise a great product particularly because it can be cleaned easily. I really shopped around before buying this one and would recommend as it represents goood value for money at under £40.

Being a typical gadget lover, I bought this De'Longhi fryer because of its Rotating basket. I used it mainly for french fries but also for other dishes. The fries came out perfectly well, as a matter of fact, better then ever before, while the amount of oil needed was probably 50-60% of the normal amount. while I was very pleased with this product for the first 2-3 months, I was disappointed to find out that the rubber hose built for emptying the oil for cleaning the fryer, was built poorly and got holes in it after only 2-3 months of non-extensive usage.
