This product is large but then it does cook a hell of a lot of pasta at once if you need that. Equally it can cook for one person. You fill the removeable bowl with water to the mark, pop it in the base, drop in the basket, fill with pasta (any kind even spaghetti), push the on button, if you need to adjust the time, the default is 10 minutes which give aldente for most pasta so normally turning it on is enough. Once the water is boiling the basket silently drops into the water.

It bleeps at 1 minute to go and then once its done. Then the basket silently lifts up and the pasta is drained and keeps warm in the steam.

I received my GEO sprouter within 2 days of placing the order so that was good. Bad points: one of the trays was cracked and none of the three seed packets were as advertised; instead of Brocoli, fenugreek and alfalfa, I got mung, clover and lentil, certainly two of which I would not choose to buy. Having only just received it, I have yet to construct the product or use it.
