My parents bought me a full set of Stellar pans from this range for Christmas two years ago and since then they have seen almost daily use as my domestic pans of choice (I cook most nights). I bought a second saute pan to allow me to prepare a curry in one while I cook rice in the other. They are of high quality with a good, heavy base that spreads heat from my gas hob evenly and well - allowing frying or very gentle simmering of curries. Handles are strong, well-weighted and remain cool during use. Lids fit snuggly and allow the cooking of long, braised dishes. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend this pan and the rest of the range.

I have had the 28cm version of this Open French Skillet for 3 years now and it has not had what you would call heavy duty use by any means. Initially the pan performed adequately with little or no oil used (as per the instructions). The nonstick properties now though are virtually non-existent even through careful handling has been observed throughout this time. I am just in the process of returning the item under the terms of the lifetime guarantee. Would I ever buy another Circulon product?........ I doubt it.
