I just received this grill as a gift and was excited to use it. I have owned other larger grills but like the idea of the "toaster" effect offered by this one. I grilled some softened red peppers, marinated tofu and mushrooms. It all tasted amazing and the tofu which usually takes 20 minutes or more baking took only five with the Krups. For all its good though, I have to say clean up it an absolute PITA. The grill does not come apart so you have to wash it all in place; dirty water everywhere since you can't submerge it for obvious reasons. Love the grill, hate the clean up.

This is by far the best money I have ever spent! I use it virtually everyday at least once and after use with a small amount of washing up liquid and a kitchen sponge it is very easy and quick to clean (five minutes absolute maximum). If you are buying your first house this is essential - effectively as long as you have one of these and a microwave you can pretty much cook anything. I rarely use my oven now - it's that good. Chicken kebabs have got to be one of the easiest, quickest, and tastiest things to cook on the foreman and we have had many "indoor" bbq's using it. Stop reading the reviews and just buy one - it'll be the best thing you ever buy for your kitchen.

I bought one of these a while ago. In less than a year the teflon wore off, leaving just bare aluminium. Everything stuck to it and it became impossible to clean. So I threw it away. If you're buying a grill buy a heavy duty non-Teflon one.

We bought our 1st George 2 weeks ago and took it on holiday with our ever hungry family of 5. We have our own caravan and figured it would be a good idea to use the George to cook on in the caravan and take full advantage of the electric hook up on site. HOW RIGHT WERE WE!!! Its amazing! simply plug it in and off you go, really tasty low fat meals in minutes, we used it for full cooked breakfasts (sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms), lunchtime snacks and lazy evening barbecues (salmon, steak, sausage, burgers) in the awning while the rain poured outside! Saves having to cart around gas bottles to power the cooker in the caravan and cooks much nicer but best of all really easy to clean! WE LOVE IT!
