The difference is in the design with this Dyson. You just have to see the detail. It's vastly superior to any other handheld. In fact, from Dyson's own website, I can buy any part, and make a whole new machine myself and without having to pay for costly repairs. What do you do with your old handheld when it breaks - throw it away and buy another one? Well done Mr. Dyson. It's a top product. I will keep this brief and to the point. The item does not have any rotating brushes (something I should have noted before purchasing it). There is a "static brush bar" on the underside, but that is pretty useless. Because of this, all the device does really is squirt out the water/detergent mix and then suck it back up again. And to be clear, it doesn't even suck up much of the water. This is probably because the suction bit near the front does not press down against the carpet firmly enough to be effective. I have given it "two stars" because the hand held attachment did manage to get a good amount of grime out, but that required that I scrub the carpet rigorously with the small static brush mounted within the handheld bit. Vax V-124 Dual V Upright Carpet Washer Just bought this machine while it is about half price!What a bargain! I know November is not the ideal time to clean carpets but I couldnt wait. The machine is fabulous my carpets came up so clean & when I saw what had come out ---well!!With 2 dogs you can imagine. It is easy to operate - I would just advise to go easy on the "trigger" or the carpet gets too wet. Also quite heavy & very noisy & the carpets do remain damp but guess better to use on a nice warm sunny day! I am however delighted with the machine & recommend it - cheaper than professional prices!

I bought this dusting brush at my local Curry's and it cost £17.95 which was rather on the expensive side, but I'm not a huge fan of dusting and I liked the concept. It works really well, gets up all of the dust and is gentle enough to use just about anywhere. It is great at getting the dust out of the bottom of drawers, and the tops of books in my bookcase and as all of the dust goes into the vacuum cleaner, you are not transferring it from surface to carpet. On the minus side, the brush falls off my DC04 nozzle every couple of minutes despite trying out all of the adaptors. I contemplated taking it back to Curry's, but I like the principle of dusting as I vacuum so I have perdsevered with it.

I have had my Phillips GC8220 Steam System Iron for almost a year now. It was brilliant for the first few months or so but I noticed that the water tank was leaking. It started as a trickle and evenually the leak soaked through a well folded towel in next to no time. In my despair I sealed all the joints with stong adhesive glue. It did the trick and I am back ironing as happily as ever. Apart from the leak it does the job of ironing really well.

Bosch Sensixx TDA8353 Steam Iron Comfort Secure 2400W This is the best iron I've ever used and I've been through a few! It makes my most hated chore easy. The free speedy delivery from Amazon was superb too. A VERY happy customer!

Amazon service amazing! I bought this product two days ago and it was delivered this afternoon. I put it together myself as it was so easy. I had avoided Dysons before as they are so expensive even though I had heard good reports about them. I really wish I had bought one earlier now! This machine is just superb. Not as noisy as my month old Vax which I really hated as it blows air at my face. Really easy to manouver. I love it!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and am not impressed. It replaces a 6 year old Dyson and does not perform anywhere near as well. It is so badly made when I was assembling it one of the plastic accessory holders broke off. It is also quite heavy to carry about & is not adept at picking up bits, it pushes them about the floor and leaves them behind when you change direction. It works moderately well on carpet but is pathetic on solid floors. Altogether a very disappointing purchase.

A super big heater, super big price, build and finish quality good and heating OK but maybe its my fault in that I bought a few of these hoping to replace central heating in a flat, and they are not proving to be flexible enough. Whilst both are set on timer, to get a manual over ride you have to crouch down, reach for your glasses, find a miniscule pin switch for going onto manual - not good for such a price. I put this question to Delongi and guess what - zero response. My search continues...... Maybe I should go for a new CH system..

This heats our room very quickly and is not drying but it creaks something awful when the thermostat shuts it off or I unplug it because its woken me up for the third or fourth time in a night.
