I bought my DC19 back in June and wanted to hold off reviewing it until I had used it for a while, so 6 months on and I am still enjoying my hoovering sessions with this beauty. I am a single male in a little cottage with both carpeted and bare floors, as well as a log-burner and spider-centric beamed ceilings and have to say this little machine copes admirably with it all. It makes vacuuming a joy, and far from a chore. With the reassuring strong suck even now after half a year and an as yet unwashed filter, it still cleans effectively. This product is a tidy little number. Does what it says on the tin; heats with a fan. This fan mechanism is inherently slightly noisy, but as I use it to heat my room while I work, without having to turn on the whole house heating, it is fine. I can see that it might be an irritating noise if other people were working in the same room. £20 with super saver delivery and I'm a happy customer. Just missed out on the 5 star rating only owing to the noise (which isn't excessive).

25-ish years ago, I used to love toy replicas of my mum's real domestic appliances made by Casdon. And 25 years on there is no doubt about it: kids ADORE this toy replica of the commercial/domestic Numatic 'Henry'. Even kids who are petrified of real vaccuums! From the moment I bought this, this has been one of the most popular toys with both my kids and their friends. The children wander round, happily vaccuuming the floor (with or without batteries), pulling or carrying 'Henry' along with them. Unfortunately, the popularity of the toy is diminished by the poor build quality and some really daft design features. What can I say thats good about a product that died after just 20 minutes. Well it did clean my kitchen floor beautifully but this is what I hate about buying by mail order. Now I suppose I will have to try and package it all up again and get it down to post office to send it back to supplier - that's if they are interested. I am seriously fed up. I took a chance after reading good reviews on another page and not so many bad ones there. Now I find this page of reviews and see other people have same bad experience. I would be furious after 3 months so you can imagine how I feel after only receiving product this afternoon.
