Mostly this item is cute. It does suck up crumbs as well, although the power isn't that high so it takes a while. The casing is more robust than I thought it would be, and it's smaller than I expected it to be.

Bought this and took it back after one day - the main problem is that I am 5'10" and I found that the hose wasn't long enough for me, even when fully extended. I was getting back ache in just a few minutes due to leaning over because of the short hose. My other half is 6'3" so had more of a problem. The other issues are that I felt it was flimsy, that it didn't pick up too well on a carpet (tho good on hard floors) and had a small capacity. We bought the Bosch BSG71266GB instead which is £50 cheaper and found it instantly better.

I have owned a DEC10 model for 3 years & have experienced no problems at all. However due to the layout of my home I needed something bigger. The DEC14 has been perfect so far & is very efficient. Its much better in a room with laundry than the smaller model due to its extraction. It cuts the drying time considerably. I use the 10 for the bedrooms & the 14 near the bathroom & when drying laundry. I highly recommend this product for anyone with a 2 bed flat especially over the winter months. I haven't had any condensation on my windows. I have noticed the 14 is slightly more noisy than the 10, also the 14 works better in lower temperatures than my 10.

This is a great little machine. Very impressed considering the low price on this item. Can quickly shampoo a carpet with no more effort than using a vacuum cleaner.

I bought these as a trial, wondering if they would turn out to be a 'nice idea that doesn't work' - and I have found them to be great. I now do all my laundry with them. I use a Dyson washing machine, and maybe that makes a difference judging by what some other people have experienced, and have found these balls to be so effective that I now use lower temperatures and shorter cycles, all without washing powder or fabric conditioner and everything comes out clean, soft and smell free. Having said that I don't have really muddy or very soiled clothing so can't say if they are upto that, however I am really greatfull that I no longer have the expense and hassle of buying washing powder - it makes more of a difference than I would have thought, ... I have to say the size is good.. I do like it.. The heat is not that as powerful as I thought. I only bought it because the running cost is low. I would recommand it for small rooms.

Actually I bought the predecessor that included a turbo nozzle but I found that it only did the job for about 2 monthths before jamming. Well the device itself is rather light, which is a plus. However, due to the high centre of gravity it tends to fall over when turning around a corner. The cable (usable 4.5m) is quite short and funnily enough, after a year the cable cannot be stopped to retract (usually I found that vacuums suffer from not being able to retract after a while). The filter is washable and "brushable" - the latter is necessary since the suction diminishes rapidly if fine dust enters the filter, hence it has to be frequently cleaned (I already had better bagless cleaners). ok i love dyson and i got this car cleaning kit to go with my animal stowaway as have hairy pets! the best thing about the kit is the extendable bendable attachment it really does get down the sides of your chairs and suction is great. the small rotary head attachment is fine but it's meant to pick up hairs really easilly and it doesnt but is a better size to use in your car than the stanadard ones you get with your main hoover. also dyson are notorious at having bad instuctions and its no different here! but all in all a great little kit that is easy to clean, well built, innovative and does the job of cleaning my car!

Overall great for rugs and general use. Easy assemble + lightweight. NB:bottles of rug & hard floor cleaner in box so don't order extra (yet). Great results after 1st use, good suction so quick drying. Tank easy to wash out, capacity OK, just don't expect to do the whole room in 1 tankfull. WATCH: drips if left standing. Not tried on tiled floor yet so will add review later.
