I will keep this brief and to the point. The item does not have any rotating brushes (something I should have noted before purchasing it). There is a "static brush bar" on the underside, but that is pretty useless. Because of this, all the device does really is squirt out the water/detergent mix and then suck it back up again. And to be clear, it doesn't even suck up much of the water. This is probably because the suction bit near the front does not press down against the carpet firmly enough to be effective. I have given it "two stars" because the hand held attachment did manage to get a good amount of grime out, but that required that I scrub the carpet rigorously with the small static brush mounted within the handheld bit. Vax V-124 Dual V Upright Carpet Washer Just bought this machine while it is about half price!What a bargain! I know November is not the ideal time to clean carpets but I couldnt wait. The machine is fabulous my carpets came up so clean & when I saw what had come out ---well!!With 2 dogs you can imagine. It is easy to operate - I would just advise to go easy on the "trigger" or the carpet gets too wet. Also quite heavy & very noisy & the carpets do remain damp but guess better to use on a nice warm sunny day! I am however delighted with the machine & recommend it - cheaper than professional prices!

hmm, i'm hoping i just got a faulty one - but on its maiden voyage and only in a 160 degree oven it cracked clean in two. hoping the rest of the stoneware fares better. also we noticed the stoneware is all made in thailand and not france as one might think.

We originally bought this because we were fed up with having to blend soup in little batches in our normal jug style blender. I didn't think we'd use the accessories much, but a couple of months down the line and we've used them all. The jug is great for smoothies and its tupperware-like top makes the jug really useful in itself. The turbo boost is hardly ever necessary as the normal speed blends things in very little time. The fact that all the messy bits can go in the dishwasher is excellent. The only tiny complaint I'd have is that our dishwasher seems not to be able to clean right to the bottom of the jug, but I'm sure that's more to do with our dishwasher than the blender! I hadn't read the reviews for the product until after I had bought it but have to say I'm glad I didn't! I really think that the product is what it says it is, I don't think it looks cheap and the picture shows exactly what you are getting. I wanted a small cheese board for having snacks with and it fits the bill perfect. I would recommend it for that purpose!
