This heats our room very quickly and is not drying but it creaks something awful when the thermostat shuts it off or I unplug it because its woken me up for the third or fourth time in a night.

I brought this to clean my car and needed good suction to remove clumps of mud, dog hair and grit. It certainly removed them and the motorised head which is not air powered but a separate electric motor which gets its power through two prongs just above the nozzle join is very good with its coarse and stiff bristles. But what good is it when you can only get six minutes of use out of it. I figured I could just get a second battery and have that on charge while I vacuum with another battery - alas not! The only way to charge a battery is to couple it to the device and charge it. A major design oversight in my opinion. When my wife dropped and broke our Bodum C-Mill Coffee Grinder, she replaced it with this item. It does the job well enough, and the snug fitting, generous lid is a good feature that allows you to tip the ground coffee into it before emptying into the cafetiere. The downside, however, is that every time I do a grind I'm left with the unpleasant whiff of burnt shellac from the grinder's little motor. I'd take back my old Bodum 5679 C-Mill Electric Coffee Grinder any day.

I have had two NN-A554W and both developed exactly the same fault in exactly the same place (burnt door seal) after very little use. I still don't know how or why that happened and Panasonic couldn't or wouldn't explain it. As the second appliance was still under guarantee (just four months old, less than two months of use) I got my money back (thanks Amazon). I now need another microwave but I will not be buying another Panasonic. I advise all users to check the door seal regularly.

I was looking forward to these being a talking point, but i am glad the i only ordered the 2 pack. Argyle Port Sippers 2 pack They do look good, but are very flimsy. They feel as though it would not take much for the 'sipper' to break or snap. They also are fiddely. My husband struggles to pick it up without spilling some out of the top. That said, they are great to drink from. The port is sipped from the bottom and is a nice sensation.
