It works O.K., but the battery compartment cover is very difficult to close and the machine is extremely noisy, as well as taking ages to get the lid off!

Hi purchased these luggage scales recently for a holiday to orlando florida.They were absolutely brilliant,very easy to use and accurate.We used them on the journey home to make sure we were not carrying too much hold or hand luggage, which in todays climate where air carriers are eager to screw every penny from passengers for excess luggage they were invaluable

I am writing this review because I love the Tefal Quick Cup and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Both my husband and I use it on a regular basis and after 5 weeks we're still using the original cartridge which I think is excellent. As for energy saving then it remains to be seen if our electric bills go down, but at the same time as buying this kettle we did change all our light bulbs to energy saving ones, but in this climate I guess every little helps. The only downside of the Tefal Quick Cup is how noisy it is, but since its only for a few seconds per cup its easy to put up with. I like useful gadgets in the home and decided to purchase what looked like an unique item. Generally I've never been satisfied with Vegetable peeler's until some months back, I found one with a sturdy thick handle and good blade. So I now have two. This model takes 4 AA sized batteries and it't both pretty powerful and feels nice and chunky in the hand. The plastic blade cover is pretty useless and easily falls off. Poor retaining clip - actually zilch clip. To give it a fair trial; I got two young female friends as well as myself to test both peeler's on Potatoes; Tomatoes and Apples. For the price, this is brilliant set of scales. As one of the other reviews said, no longer do you have to bend down to look at eye level - its all there in front of you. I particularly love the setting to zero when u have a bowl on the scales - great. I would recommend these to anyone yay

I feel a little misled. Copper coated does not mean solid copper does it? The saucepan has copper coloured paint that's not even even. I should have known better, but I can't resist a bargain. Its just about worth £29 not any more. If they last a year I'll be happy. Big pot discoloured on its first outing and I was careful not to apply too much heat. O well they look nice and shiny on top of the cupboard. I've not moaned to Amazon before. But there is always a first time for everything.

I can understand the frustration of some reviewers - I guess I've just got lucky on two occasions.....12 for 9 certainly works out a lot cheaper. KEEP CHECKING REGULARLY ON AMAZON - BUT BE WARNED, THEY DO SELL OUT QUICKLY AND THERE'S NOWHERE I'VE FOUND CHEAPER.

Hi, can't understand all the complaints from the other reviews on this product. I think its fab. I get up at 4.30am every morning and it makes me a perfect cup of tea every time. No hassle and no complaints :-)
