I bought this nearly 6 months ago because I was finding it painful to open bottles due to a combination of RSI and arthritis in my wrist. So I must have used it well over 100 times, with no trouble, even with plastic corks. It's a bit noisy in use and the blue light that tells you it's charging is a bit bright, but the only better wine drinking accessory I've ever seen can be viewed on Youtube if you search for usbwine. On a whole, I'd say this is a good product, it makes toasted sandwhiches like it promises & it is relatively easy. So, is it worth replacing your sandwhich toaster with these bags? I wouldn't advise it in truth. I havn't yet managed to make a toastie which hasn't been slightly more 'crispy' than I would have preferred even on a low setting. Admittedly, I have a toaster with an unadjustable slot mechanism so that might be why, though it would be expensive to buy a new toaster just to use these bags. Also, at 5-6 quid for some plastic bags it would probably work out more expensive than buying a toastie maker in the long run, & to say I havn't been using mine long, there are a lot of burn holes & marks to say ... I bought one of these 9 months ago and like the title says its alright but not great. We do use it on a daily basis as we cook a lot and are already on our third set of batteries. This might not sound a lot but it has 6 batteries in. I feel it could have done without the light as to me its pointless. I never cook in the dark. It also doesnt grate quickly enough for my liking (probably why we have used so many batteries). If you have people around to dinner then I think it would be a nice addition to a dinner table and a whimsical talking point, however as a serious kitchen gadget it just doesnt work.

Superb piece of kit, I only wish I'd discovered it sooner. I've never been satisfied with the results I'd obtained with a steel and I've been looking for an inexpensive, non-bulky device to sharpen a wide variety of old and new knives. Thankfully I've finally found it in the black/Grey sharpener. It really is as easy and safe to use as the other reviewers have commented. Fill the small reservoir with water, replace the cover and simply glide the knife back and forth with gentle pressure between each of the two stones __ job done and perfect results every time. Needed hand blender as my cheapie one from Sainsburys died , and a chopper to chop nuts and herbs etc. I have a bigger food processor which is great for larger quantities of food but needed something that could deal with smaller quantities and was easy to clean and store. This does the job really well, very compact and so great for smaller quantities such as baby food etc. Has 2 blade units - one for for blending and a flat one for chopping things such as nuts and coffee beans. Don't drink coffee I'm afraid so not really sure how well it works in that respect, but the motor seems quite powerful so I am sure it would grind them a treat.
