My tip: use coffee pods instead of grinding your own or using ready ground coffee. Cheaper, fresher and more convnient, plus no mess and no waste. Gaggia make their own pods, or alternatively you can buy other brands in most good supermarkets.

It managed to make a hole in the first tin. After extricating it, with enormous difficulty (the rest button is "handily" inaccessible when it is stuck on a can) I tried a second can - it didn't even breach the can. Then it made a nasty crunching noise and is now in the bin.

If you want great coffee without any hassle or mess, this is a superb little machine. After 3 months of use, I'm delighted with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend it to others. It takes seconds to clean and the coffee tastes amazing, helped by the very well-designed Aeroccino. The wife's impressed with the results too, although she figured out long ago that it's quicker and easier to ask for a coffee than make it herself!

These tongs are really well made. They are the first good grips item I have purchased, and I am so pleased with them, I shall definitely consider purchasing other products in this range. There is a 12 inch version available,although I find the 9 inch is ideal for my needs of griddling and frying meat. To lock the tongs, just squeeze them together and pull the end where you hang them up. I highly recommend these, and I think they would even make a nice gift for keen cooks.

very pleased with this bin. had bought one from homebase which was their own brand but it broke after 3 months of usage. this bin feels sturdy, the foot pedal is nice and smooth and it comes with 3 sample brabantia bin liners, which to be honest cost £5 for 40 - something i wont be buying as the ones from Tesco's work a treat with the lid, which seals away any unsightly bin edge from hanging out. great price, top quality!

If you want a potato masher where the shaft doesn't feel as though it's going through your palm this is the one for you. For anyone with a weak hand or arm, the well designed handle allows better leverage for mashing with less effort. You won't regret buying this.
