I all but gave up buying wine until someone bought me one of these. I became frustrated by tipping half a bottle of good red wine down the sink a day after opening it when it had gone off, or feeling that I had to finish the bottle, and so feel worse for drink the day after. This item has changed all that. I no longer have to think about the waste if I just want a glass or two from a bottle. Simply push in the rubber bung and use the pump to suck all the air out. The wine keeps well for at least a week like this, and so is the perfect gizmo, if like me, you are a one or two glass per night regular wine drinker. Until now i'd been grinding beans with my multipurpose blender which could easily be disassembled and cleaned. With this grinder, there are no detachable parts. To clean the manual suggests you sweep out execess grind with a small brush (like what?) then wipe with a damp cloth. I just use a kitchen towell. Besides that, the product is excellent. Makes a beautiful, fine espresso grind for my new Bialetti. Bialetti Moka Express Espresso Maker, 6 Cup

hmm, i'm hoping i just got a faulty one - but on its maiden voyage and only in a 160 degree oven it cracked clean in two. hoping the rest of the stoneware fares better. also we noticed the stoneware is all made in thailand and not france as one might think.

I hadn't read the reviews for the product until after I had bought it but have to say I'm glad I didn't! I really think that the product is what it says it is, I don't think it looks cheap and the picture shows exactly what you are getting. I wanted a small cheese board for having snacks with and it fits the bill perfect. I would recommend it for that purpose!

I hadn't read the reviews for the product until after I had bought it but have to say I'm glad I didn't! I really think that the product is what it says it is, I don't think it looks cheap and the picture shows exactly what you are getting. These Grill Sponges are excellent for cleaning all the ins & outs of the George Foreman Grill plates, which is almost impossible to do with a normal sponge scrubber, without damaging either the scrubber, or the grill plate. I first discovered them a couple of years ago, and have found them so good, although hard to find locally, that whenever I discover a shop with them, I buy several packs, to ensure that I won't run out, before I have to restock. I would greatly recommend them to everyone.

Excellent product. Only downside, (and reason for four stars), is when the UK hour changes there is only 1 way to change the clock. Take the batteries out and put them back in, so the time is reset to 12 oclock. So (unless I have missed something) you have to do this at 12 oclock or the clock time part will always be inaccurate. Otherwise very good.
