and I love coffee. I must admit the first one we got didnt boil the water so went straight back with it, ive read since there has been a problem. However no complaints about this one, the first one I tried was a mugsize, I have large mugs and it fills it to the top so be careful, a normal sized mug wouldnt do. It came out boiling hot but no room for milk so sipped a bit out to fit it in, perfect, lovely tasting coffee with a frothy top. Ive only had it a week but using it twice a day at least, I now use the cup size, put the milk in the micro for 20 seconds as I prefer it that way and use a smaller mug. I do set it on a cup setting first with just water but thats because I prefer to make sure its clean [my problem] I havent tried any other makes ... Read More:

To be fair to the product it has nothing wrong with it. Its a good shaker and not too heavy or light. It is what it is, nothing fancy which you cannot expect for £11. Well worth the buy because it is great when guests come round and fun to use. Yes i do recommend this product.

As this gift was for my daughter, it's only fitting I give her the last word (and all the others you'll see below) for this review... I have to say, I really like it! I'm one of those people who's proud of the time they spend slaving away over a hot stove to bring together a huge meal for twelve all made from scratch. Bought this after reading the other good reviews. I have Porsche type 301 knives which I had let get far too blunt. The instructions on the product say that 20 passes of the blade on each stone should do but with my knives it was more like 200. Now this could be because I had let my knives get too blunt or because my knives don't sharpen as well as Globals. Nevertheless I persevered and they are all razor sharp now. Excellent product.

Yes it's not particularly high tech nor will it win any design awards and the build quality is not up to ipod standards but, and this is important! it wakes you up with a freshly made pot (HOT) of tea for 2. OK, the rocker switches are a little dated, the clock is a little "agricultural" for my liking and it's only a slightly less than 12 hour timer (how long do you sleep for anyway?) but it's a teasmade - it makes tea. I suppose they could have added a digital clock, WiFi, internet radio, D.A.B., bluetooth and god knows what else but it wouldn't make it do the job any better. As for a kettle and timer, good luck with that, it's certainly cheaper but somewhat less convienient (or safe for that matter) and then you have still got to pour the water into a pot which ... Okay but if you are left handed I would suggest looking elsewhere, as the ignition button is placed in a way that makes it difficult to use this left-handed. It would have been so simple for the designer to have placed it either at the front or back so that it could have been used with either hand.
