Tefal Ultra Compact VC1000615 Steamer, 3 Tier, Chrome BodyAm I just very unlucky or has anyone else had this experience with this steamer? I have had two of these. After about 6 months I noticed that the handle (which is affixed to the lid, presumably with glue) was coming adrift and was in fact hanging off. I took it back and had a replacement becuse I really liked the steamer. It has a good capacity reservoir, an external fill facility and the bowls are dishwasher safe - all essentials as far as I am concerned. I only had the replacement at the beginning of August and lo and behold the handle came right off the lid on Sunday just as I was about to dish up my veggies. This heater gives out a decent amount of heat BUT the thermostat is terrible. I've tried it in two rooms and can never find a setting which suits - its always too hot or too cold. The heat is always "on" or "off", there are no graduations inbetween. I am going to try a more expensive heater with proper climate control.

Takes the mither out of eating out as don't have to worry about the logistics of heating food... many places won't heat for you for 'health and safety reasons.. bah!' Handy when older as can take soup etc out. would recommend scalding the flask first and heating food much hotter then required, will prob be perfect temp 3/4 hours later when you need it.

Brita Maxtra 9 Pack Water Filter Cartridges (+3 Free) This Kettle is well worth Purchasing, a little bit more expencive than ordenry Kettles, but is worth it your hot drinks tast much better and the lights on the kettle look well cool, and a keep warm button enables you to make hot drinks without having to reboil the keetle and wiil keep the water hot for several hours. I have had no problems at all with this and am very pleased with it. The only problem is the Britta cartidges you need fot the kettle can work out a little expencive, concidering you have to change it every 4 weeks.

This is a brilliant product. Well worth the money. I adapted an old Cordon Bleu recipe using 3 to 4 ozs Flour, 1/2 tsp of Bicarb of sode, 1tsp of baking powder, pinch of salt I egg, seperated with the egg white whipped and put in at the end, 11/2 oz of melted butter and 7ozs of soured milk. It works brilliantly and makes about 7 waffles in the krups. Takes about 4 minutes to cook.

Didn't toast evenly. Has broken down only after 16 months - 4 months after the expiry date of the guarantee. Considering the price, it should have lasted a bit longer, surely?

I bought this Thermos food Jar for my son to take to school. I am very impressed with it as i prepare the soup at 7.30am and it is still very hot by his lunch time at school 12.30. I read the instructions before use which do tell you to heat the product with hot water before use for hot food, or cold water before putting in the cold food. This seems to work very well. Over all it was well worth the money!

I bought one of these toasters locally as they where reduced to half price, my old toaster was needing retiring as it was burning even on the lowest settings, The Kenwood was the best toaster I could buy for my money. First couple of days with there being a few buttons on the front I could not get my toast to brown,, then I realised, those buttons,, one was for defrosting, the other was for reheat, the key to getting perfect toast from your Kenwood is just put the dial to the setting you want and then simply press down the black button(s) for 2 or 4 slices if required.
