Normally I tend to confine my reviews to items of the literary kind, but as I can't really be bothered with another book review at the moment (and because I bought this grill from Amazon recently) I thought I'd turn my critical eye on the Big George. This is my first real experience with health grills, and overall I'd have to say I'm quite impressed. The grilling area heats up quickly and is big enough to fit plenty of burgers on, making it a handy backup if you've invited all your friends over for a BBQ but the weather isn't cooperating. I purchased this steamer to replace my old one because after reading the reviews it seemed like a safe buy. Maybe I have been unlucky but after less than 3 months I have had two major issues with it. The first was that I left water in the bottom with the element after using it and it turned mouldy... this never happened with my first steamer. Anyway after disinfecting it the smell finally went away and I used it again. Now the element has got burnt and everytime I clean it it just burns again on the next use which makes all the food taste like burnt element (UGH!) So I have given up and thrown it away replacing it with an old fashioned three tiered stainless steel steamer from M&S for £9.50 wish I had done that in the first place.

My DC01 was beginning to show its age, and though it had never given any trouble in the 10 years I've had it, at the first excuse I persuaded myself that it was time to buy a new Dyson. (The 'excuse' was actually a loose (fixable) wire but Opportunity was knocking . . .) I knew that Dysons had obviously come a long way since the 01 but the DC14 All floors is a good Quantum Leap ahead in technology and performance. I expected it to be better, but not that much better! My carpet appears to be a different colour, the cat hairs have completely gone, it cleans up to the edges much more efficiently than the 01, and I find the machine itself extremely easy to handle and manoeuvre around the house. If you've got pets, get this its brilliant!! I was amazed and horrified at what came of the carpet the first time i used it!! Well worth the money!!

These slippers have changed my life! For as long as I can remember I have suffered with cold feet. It is particularly bad at work and my cold feet can stop me from concentrating properly. But, not any more! I bought a pair two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. They keep my feet beautifully warm. I don't attempt to walk very far in them (a bit like wading through sand - great exercise I imagine) but sitting at a desk or on a couch they are ideal. Plus, all my work mates have been begging me for the link so they can get some too! They won't win fashion item of the year (they are the footwear a garden gnome would chose) but they are the most wonderful addition to my life.

We found that this microwave was £50 dearer in the shops. We ordered on Friday afternoon and to our amazement it arrived Saturday morning, what service. We have had a Sharps microwave for the last 13 years and are really pleased with the new one although we have only just unpacked it

Having a shoulder injury, I am unable to knead bread. I thought the dough hook would do this for me, but if i leave the machine kneading for more than 30 seconds, it jumps all over the place and smells like the motor is burning out. Also the dough ends up tangled all over the inside of the machine and is very difficult to get out and to clean off. When chopping veg, the cutter pulls through full pieces of cabbage without chopping. Carrots go to mush. I have reverted to using a hand grater.

My daughter had one of these for her 13th birthday recently. She has made various icecreams with it which are lovely. It is easy to use and doesn't require loads of ingredients to make something really tasty. The thing that I really like about it that you know the end product is made with natural ingredients and the 'fruity taste' is superb!
