Yes it's not particularly high tech nor will it win any design awards and the build quality is not up to ipod standards but, and this is important! it wakes you up with a freshly made pot (HOT) of tea for 2. OK, the rocker switches are a little dated, the clock is a little "agricultural" for my liking and it's only a slightly less than 12 hour timer (how long do you sleep for anyway?) but it's a teasmade - it makes tea. I suppose they could have added a digital clock, WiFi, internet radio, D.A.B., bluetooth and god knows what else but it wouldn't make it do the job any better. I bought my DC19 back in June and wanted to hold off reviewing it until I had used it for a while, so 6 months on and I am still enjoying my hoovering sessions with this beauty. I am a single male in a little cottage with both carpeted and bare floors, as well as a log-burner and spider-centric beamed ceilings and have to say this little machine copes admirably with it all. It makes vacuuming a joy, and far from a chore. With the reassuring strong suck even now after half a year and an as yet unwashed filter, it still cleans effectively. My absolute prized posession!! If my house was on fire i would grab this first. A bargain in comparison to the Kitchen Aid and with the exception of not being able to use attachments with it, definately up to the same standard.

This product is a tidy little number. Does what it says on the tin; heats with a fan. This fan mechanism is inherently slightly noisy, but as I use it to heat my room while I work, without having to turn on the whole house heating, it is fine. I can see that it might be an irritating noise if other people were working in the same room. £20 with super saver delivery and I'm a happy customer. Just missed out on the 5 star rating only owing to the noise (which isn't excessive).

Very pleased with this slow cooker - its a great size for 1/2 people, easy to clean. i turn my on at 7.00am in the morning and dont get back till 7.00 pm - whatever is in the slow cooker is cooked to perfection, nothing ever burns and the liquid doesnt evaporate. Fantastic price

25-ish years ago, I used to love toy replicas of my mum's real domestic appliances made by Casdon. And 25 years on there is no doubt about it: kids ADORE this toy replica of the commercial/domestic Numatic 'Henry'. Even kids who are petrified of real vaccuums! From the moment I bought this, this has been one of the most popular toys with both my kids and their friends. The children wander round, happily vaccuuming the floor (with or without batteries), pulling or carrying 'Henry' along with them. Looks good in the kitchen. Very easy to use. Lots of gadgets which seem to all get packed away for storage. I use this machine every day. Absolutely love it. Though beware of sharp cutting blades. Whilst drying up ready for first use, blade cut thro tea towel and ended up with cut thumb.

Like other reviewers we bought this slicer to use with the excellent Panasonic breadmaker, based on the generally good reviews. But we soon gave up on it and it is now on its way to a jumble sale. As others have stated, the sharp curve on exiting the blade causes our breads to break up. Plus the blade really struggles to get through the crusts, so it takes forever to cut a loaf. I'm not sure if it's a lack of sharpness or lack of horsepower which makes it so feeble. Either way, it hasn't done the job for us, just as well it's relatively cheap.

Was guided by other reviews and am very pleased with this little gem. Very light practical , neat and does what it says on the tin. Only fed up cos wanted to buy another 1 for my Dad and they've gone up £10 = 25% !! come on amazon it's quite off putting when you do this . If you do buy this you won't be disappointed
