Our old Rowenta iron died at 17.30 hours 1 July 2008. Thanks to Amazon the Bosch arrived at lunchtime the next day, thanks. It is a great iron. It weighs next to nothing and irons very smoothly with plenty of steam. A real plus is the extra long lead.

I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

Nasal breathing has previously been a rarity - colds, hay fever or just blocked sinuses. But since I got the basic kit in the winter I've had few, if any, colds. And now with spring I'm still breathing easily. I don't use it daily, so the original 30 sachets have only just run out (I've order a replcement 10oz salt tub rather than sachets or diy). But when I do feel the sinuses under pressure, and get a little sniffly, a quick rinse through and I'm fine within an hour or two. Four stars as UK availability seems very limited and hence fairly high postage via Amazon marketplace.

Fab, fab, fab! Toasts evenly, looks gorgeous, good and solid. Controls are easy to use, and there isn't a terrifying clunk or twang when your perfectly toasted slice pops up. Very glad I found this one - and it's NOT that expensive: my son spotted a Kitchen Aid one for about £150.00! This one's a bargain.

With the arrival of our first baby I bought two moonlights to allow us to feed her at night without waking her too much. Works a treat, just the right amount of light, looks smart etc. Great product. Only gripe would be that it doesn't have its own switch (you have to use the one on the plug socket) so you can't plug it into a shared adaptor without leaving it on all the time.

I saw Jamie Oliver use this type of salad spinner on TV - it made the job sooooo much easier than using conventional spinners. After a quick search on the Net, found what I wanted and it's worth it's weight in gold! I have back problems and found it very easy to use. It doesn't skid along the worksurfaces, the brake is great and love the fact that it is dishwasher proof (All hail the dishwasher!!) I no longer end up hugging the salad spinner I had like a long lost friend trying to turn the handle and hold it on the worksurface. Great idea and so simple.

We looked long and hard at the food processors available and it's fair to say that the more we looked, the harder it was to decide. So, we searched by the main criteria, which were large bowl and small footprint, and that narrowed the choice dramatically - still a lot to choose from but at least the dual action processors where the liquidiser and bowl can be used simultaneously were eliminated. Then it was down to name / build quality, then price. The Kenwood name solves the quality angle and a mooch around revealed a price of £69.99 at Comet, which is a very good price indeed. This is by far the best thing for any kitchen, seriously! I first bought mine about two years ago when I lived in the USA, just like everything it did in the t.v. infomercial, I was able to do, too! I made everything so fast and simple, and tasty too! It's the ultimate drinks machine, too! Made loads of frozen yummies, to decadent desserts, sauces, snacks, etc. When I moved to the UK I had to give it to my mum, who after using it the first time was also thoroughly amazed! I've know bought a UK version, and love having it in my kitchen! I had it for 2 and a half years. I like Kenwood hand mixers. I use it for mixing cakes and whipping cream up.
