Handle has just fallen off. Thankfully it was full of cold water. The kettle bounced off our granite surface and hit our Russell Hobbs matching toaster which now doesn't work. You couldn't have written this comedy sketch if you had tried. Not a happy bunny.

After originally considering the Dyson products, I was attracted by the price of this Vax, although unsure of the performance. I can happily say that it's performance is excellent, and superior to our old Dyson. It also seems to be more sturdily built than the Dyson, although only time will tell, however that may have come at the cost of the one disadvantage of the Vax which is that it is quite heavy. The turbo tool it comes with is great and makes cleaning the stairs and the car a whole lot easier. I am very happy with this vacuum and thoroughly recommend it, at this price it is a steal and nearly half the price of a Dyson.

Received my ice cream bucket as a fathers day gift and it's excellent. the biuld quality seems of a very high standard, its so easy to use, its very easy to clean (an absolute must) and it turns out ice cream of a very smooth consistancy. The ice cream comes out just about ready to eat but for a harder consistancy you do need to pop in the freezer (I recommend overnight). At last I can have a really strong coffee ice cream, lovely

A brilliant ironing board cover in that there are no strings or cords to pull, unlike other ironing board covers, (can be more like a game of tug of war when trying to put a new cover on when trying to get exact fit and strings in place). But no more with this excellent item. Stays in place when put on, no wrinkling or coming loose, quite thick so a smooth ironing surface is had. Suitable for ladies and men to put on ironing board, so more excuses men for not doing the ironing. (Put one in your partners xmas stocking(or just left out as a thoughful gift). Got this for a christmas present. Did a before and after taste test and the difference is quite surprising. Definitely using it on every bottle from now on. Only problem I've found is it claims to auto power off but doesn't. I have to take batteries out to stop it!

I don't understand how so many other reviewers have found this works as well as they say it does. Only one other person describes having the problems I have with this. Unless you chose to slice the bread very thick, the slices tear as they try to get out through the curved exit. I only bought it to slice my own stoneground wholemeal bread and it is not a success.

I couldn't believe the size of this thing when I got it out of the box: It's a struggle to hold it in one hand with your thumb on the grind button. Most of that bulk seems to be air, judging by the weight. The lid feels very flimsy, with lots of grooves and ridges that the grounds get caught in. It's easy to screw it on the wrong way round, meaning that the motor won't start until you take it off and put it on again. I get angry every time I use it -- Not a great contribution to the coffee-making experience.
